Politics › Re: Who Is Still Taking Adeboye Serious? by PROPHETmichael: 3:41pm On Nov 08, 2025 |
PeopleStructure: This man, like other big men of God in Nigeria, didn't deem it fit to speak out against this genocide until Trump in faraway America did and he has suddenly found his voice, trying to ride the wave like he did during endsars.
Doesn't seem genuine to me one bit. Just a means of staying relevant and steering himself in line of the public's good graces. Or maybe just being proactive to avoid criticisms and possible sanctions by the US for complicity through silence.
Imagine their counterpart, Sheik Gumi, always about the whole place defending his murderous brethren despite it not looking good on him while they (Adeboye, Oyedepo, and others) hold their peace in their safe places. After all, whoever dies, let him die, the remaining will continue to pay tithe. And the lord is always good.
All round hypocrites!
Even imagine. He said he was compelled to speak out (possibly by his PR people), meaning that otherwise he wouldn't have. I'm beginning to think it's time we boycotted these business centers called churches. After many of them, such as Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor Paul Enenche, and Apostle Johnson Suleman, to mention only a few, openly warned Nigerians not to vote for incompetence, the people still went ahead and ignored those warnings. Now that the consequences of those choices are becoming evident, and the nation is facing an ongoing genocide, some are expecting these same men of God to speak out again. Isn’t that ironic? No be juju be that? |

How has the Dangote refinery helped the common man in the street? If the refinery hasn’t started easing fuel prices or creating real local impact yet, what difference would Trump’s involvement even make? Anything Trump wants to do for the common man to enjoy peace at home, let him do it. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Shrugs Off US Military Threat - Sells $2.25 Billion Eurobond - Reuters by PROPHETmichael: 1:43am On Nov 06, 2025 |
Kemetian: Which global markets panic?
Nobody in Nigeria ''panics'' when the dollar falls. We celebrate.
The 'panic' occurs in your head. Exactly! You just proved my point. You celebrate because your economy isn’t where the world’s money actually flows. Global markets panic because the dollar underpins trillions in trade, debt, and reserves. When it sneezes, the world catches a fever. And funny you called Nigeria a “major power” earlier… now that’s a colossal paradox. |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Shrugs Off US Military Threat - Sells $2.25 Billion Eurobond - Reuters by PROPHETmichael: 1:24am On Nov 06, 2025 |
Kemetian: The US economy is the most fragile and dependent on Earth. Wealth built on debt, fantasy and threats.
Today we have PAPPS, the Pan-African payment system, eliminating the need for dollars in intra-African commerce. The rest of the world is de-dollarising, to America's growing alarm.
The only reason you are not like Somalia is that the world uses your dollar as its reserve currency.
THAT'S CHANGING BY THE MINUTE.
Added to this coming decline, your entire digital infrastructure is extremely fragile and interconnected that a single rogue cyberattack can wipe of trillions of dollars from your system in a matter of SECONDS, destroying your society overnight.
Don't bother arguing. This is all well-researced and backed by AI analysis. The U.S. economy is “fragile,” yet it’s the one every investor runs to when their own currency sneezes. The dollar drops one cent and global markets panic. Come back let"s talk when your central banks stop depending on SWIFT and the IMF before announcing the fall of the dollar. Till then, I'll leave you to keep dreaming of cyber apocalypse lol |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Shrugs Off US Military Threat - Sells $2.25 Billion Eurobond - Reuters by PROPHETmichael: 1:04am On Nov 06, 2025 |
Kemetian: One thing Trump needs to understand is that Nigeria is not a small country he can bullly.
Nigeria is not Guinea or Liberia.
It is a major power, a BRICS member, with far-reaching global connections.
And most importantly, with a powerful MILITARY and ECONOMIC ally backing it.
CHINA.
China, with tens of billions of dollars of investment in Nigeria, and allied to RUSSIA, the world's biggest nuclear superpower, warned that it '''firmly'' disagrees with US threats against Nigeria.
That's diplomatic-speak for ''Don't you dare''.
The US is indebted to China by TRILLIONS of dollars.
So the Chinese have economic and military leverage, plus Russian backing.
If Trump wants to start World War 3, and US economic catastrophe on top of Nigerian matters, he's welcome. Oh please. Nigeria “a major power”? Let’s not get carried away. Having BRICS membership doesn’t magically turn potholes into power plants. China’s “investments” aren’t charity, they’re debt traps with interest, and if push came to shove, Beijing wouldn’t burn its trillion-dollar U.S. Treasury holdings to defend Abuja’s ego. And as for “powerful military ally”? You mean those Temu engineered equipments? The Chinese army couldn’t even save its own equipment from rust, and Russia is too busy trying not to lose to Ukraine. The U.S. doesn’t need to “threaten” Nigeria. One sanction, one banking freeze, and your elite won't be able to buy one champagne in London. If the dollar sneezes, the naira catches pneumonia. A country that recently entered Iran's airspace without Iran knowing and caused significant damage to their nuclear facilities? Dey play Even their Chinese powered 21st century rader defense system couldn't detect NOTHING. Dey playSo before talking about “World War 3,” maybe fix the power grid first and your Federal Highways.

Politics › Re: Trump Wants Nigeria's Resources - Afenifere by PROPHETmichael: 4:25am On Nov 05, 2025 |
It is far more beneficial for the United States to gain access to Nigeria’s natural resources while ensuring that the average Nigerian can live in peace, security, and dignity, than for a corrupt elite to continue enriching themselves at the expense of the people; leaving the nation trapped in poverty, violence, and the grip of Boko Haram, bandits, and other criminal forces.

odejimioflagos: Nigeria is a sovereign nation. We solve Nigerian problems with Nigerian solutions. No foreign interference allowed. We appreciate the US support in tackling terrorism but we will not entertain any threats to our sovereignty. Sovereignty my yansh🤡What’s the point of claiming “sovereignty” when that so-called independence only benefits a few greedy elites? The same people who cry about “foreign interference” are the ones hiding billions in foreign banks while their own citizens can’t afford food or security. If America’s involvement can bring order, stability, and opportunities for regular Nigerians...if it means schools are safe, roads are secure, and people can sleep without fear, then that’s a trade worth making. Because right now, our biggest enemies aren’t foreigners; they’re the corrupt leaders draining the nation dry while pretending to protect it. At the end of the day, peace and progress for the common man will always matter more than pride built on poverty and corruption.

Ezeama400: This man is nothing but a charlatan!!!
Why is he even walking freely despite all the evidence against him about his link with bandits that are eliminating Nigerian Christians ?
Tinubu’s silence on Christian massacre speaks volume.. I don’t expect any action against bandits because both the president and his vice are all Muslims.. When the vice president was a christian and not just a christian, a senior pastor of redeem, what did he do to help the christian community? The issue isn’t about religion; it’s about leadership and accountability. Whether Christian or Muslim, what truly matters is the willingness to act and serve the people. Honestly, by standing firmly with the church, Donald Trump has shown more commitment to Christian causes than Yemi Osinbajo ever did.
