Sonnobax15:I totally understand your points and i'v3 shared that same views in the past but let's look at it from another angle. This is an opportunity for Southerners to take charge of tomorrow's Nigeria after years of Fulani dominance in the army. Because whether we like it or not, the people who are joining now will be the ones wearing stars on their shoulders in 20–40 years. If Southerners, Christians, minorities, and generally more conscious young people keep avoiding the military, then the same old dominance and imbalance will continue. But if more Southerners with sense, integrity, and genuine love for the country enter the system now, they can rise through the ranks and help balance power at the top, challenge ethnic bias from within, Influence how soldiers are trained, deployed, and how civilians are treated, And play a role in reshaping the security architecture of Nigeria. So while it’s understandable to be afraid or angry about the current situation, this period can also be seen as a strategic chance for Southerners to position themselves for real influence in the future Nigeria instead of leaving that space completely for the children of Buhari, Ahmed Gumi, Buratai etc to continue the legacy of their fathers which is sorrow, tears and blood. |
So why did he not speak out when he was the speaker of the house? Yeye dey smell |
ebukal67x:This is a political project that will eventually be abandoned by a now disgraced country. Nearly all the federal roads are in desperate need of attention, but instead of fixing them, the government chose to pursue white-elephant projects. This is a clear case of misplaced priorities. As soon as the southwestern section of the road is completed, the rest will be neglected or fearfully completed, commission, and use as a tool for their election campaign. |
mariovito:The appointment of the new service chiefs was driven not by a genuine desire on Tinubu’s part to improve security for ordinary Nigerians, but rather by fear that his hold on power was becoming unstable. Faced with growing rumours of discontent within the ranks and the possibility of a coup being plotted behind the scenes, he moved quickly to reshuffle the top military leadership. In other words, the changes were less about reforming the security architecture for the public good and more about consolidating his personal control, neutralising perceived threats, and surrounding himself with loyalists who would protect his seat instead of prioritising the safety and security of the people.

Dotherightthing:Having found out the hard way that his name was not on the list, he’d begun to stylishly attack the government.
|
It seems clear that Bola Tinubu has denied ffk the ambassadorial appointment he was hoping for, and he’s beginning to sing a different tune.

georgeakins:You talk like a prison can kill a movement. Nnamdi Kanu is an institution. Even if you silence one voice, a thousand more will answer. Men die, but ideas like his don’t, they multiply. That’s what scares the government and people like you in a now diagraced country. |
Who Saudi help? They can't even help their own Muslim brothers who are suffering in Gaza. |
God bless Benyamin Netanyahu. |
Nnamdi Kanu cried in court today, not from fear, but from watching a justice system act like a political thug in a wig. Those tears are not weakness, they’re evidence that the zoo is indeed a disgraced to the comity of nations. |
I see Nnamdi Kanu being pardon by the next government. He won't spend 7 years in prison. |
There was a country, a now disgraced country, where terrorists and bandits walk freely while judges are bought, elections are rigged, and anyone who tells the truth is branded a traitor and sentenced to life imprisonment. |
Congrats to him, well deserved 👏 |
favour32:If that is what will bring lasting peace, then so be it. If it means the poor masses on the street will no longer have to endure corruption on one side and terrorism on the other, and can move around daily without fear, then so be it. Atleast, let them manage corruption only while hoping for the day Nigeria will get it right in electing the right leaders. If it means the palm-wine tapper in Umuleri and the poor farmer in Ogbomoso can go about their daily work without the fear of being killed, then so be it. |
favour32:Make i finish nowww |
Go home and tell your husband that he is a failure. While you and your husband enjoy presidential convoys and luxury dinners, bandits get live updates and innocent Nigerians get body bags and obituary flyers. Nigerians are forced to pay tax, pay ransom and pay for coffins just so one man can keep looting, posing for cameras and pretending to be in charge, instead of doing his job and securing lives. Under your husband's watch, terrorists now have more guts than the so-called Commander-in-Chief. They mock our soldiers on TikTok Live because a shameless, money-drunk president has turned the country into an ATM for himself and his cronies. Your husband's greed is costing people their lives. Do Nigeria a favour: tell your husband to do the right thing and call Donald Trump to make it guns-a-blazing in the "now disgraced country." Your husband is incompetent, selfish to the core, and completely unworthy of the office he occupy. |
When Nigeria is truly ready to end terrorism in the North, this man and Sheikh Gumi will be the first to be arrested. A man named Kabiru Sokoto, who bombed Abuja and killed many people, was reportedly found in Kashim Shettima’s house. Today, instead of being in prison for harbouring terrorist, the same man is the VP.

If he resigns, are you aware that one of the founding fathers of Boko Haram, Shettima, will take over? |
There is always a repercussion when you attack God's people. |
CodeTemplarr:Mugu! The same now disgraced team of a now disgraced country who couldn't beat Zimbabwe? |
FreeStuffsNG: TemplarLandry:It's not easy to be data boys |
I'm not a fan of Jollof but this is bad. That’s how 2Pac and Biggie started, and now neither of them is even alive. This is totally wrong and i hope the aviation minister bans both of them from travelling for 10 years. |
TheCongo2:You dey mind people who know nothing about football? |
I'm not surprised, it was only a matter of time before their luck ran out. This is the most useless set of Super Eagles team that I've seen in recent times. Non of those foreign rejects knows what it takes to play for the Suoer eagles.
|
That's like opening another branch of lucrative business for Nigerians, most especially the politicians. |
Samesame247:Mugu! Where they not killing them long before Trump made a statement? For your information, this only goes to prove that Trump was right and that there are indeed genocide going on in Nigeria. |
I still don't trust this super eagles team to beat a team with great determination and hunger like Congo. |
Only the OG's will understand
|
At this point, nothing a now disgraced country does can surprise me. |
