It will be very difficult for him to get a visa.
Wow... That's not a news he'd like to hear...
But thanks boss...

Isn't there a possibility that, they'd want to give him a visa though, considering the mother's age?
Because she's obviously now going to need a carer sooner than later, and what better carer than her own child‍♂️

Boss man,

A friend of mine who is 27 years old lives in Nigeria, but his mother who is about 70 years old travelled to the England when he was just 3 years of age, now that she is old, is there a way that she can send for him to come and take care of her in England considering her age and his age too?.. Is there any England visa law that makes provision for such a case?

Please chairman...
Do you have any idea or know someone who has an idea on this question?.

Dear VO, the usefulness of the assistance you are giving in this thread cannot be over emphasized. Thank you so much.

I am currently admitted to a school in US, but I am yet to get my visa. I went for my visa interview on Friday June 22 And I was denied and given a white paper. find attached a copy of it.

Now. I want to reapply, how do I go about it?

During the interview, I told the consular that my sponsor was my guardian, who also is my uncle(i told her my dad is late, and that I've lived with my uncle ever since he died).
Now that I want to reapply, a family friend has asked me to change my sponsor to my mother, who's a politician, but with a lower bank statement, because my uncle has a bank statement of over 100m as against my mother's 40m+.

Now my questions are :

1. Can I reapply and make such changes?

2. What kind of interview questions should I be expecting?

3. What are my chances of getting the visa this time around?

4. Is it possible I'd be interviewed by the same lady? And does that affect anything?

Thank you so much as I await you urgent response, because whatever I do now, will be based on your instructions.

Hi Proppie. There are plenty of students in US schools who are older or even younger than typical ages for such programs. We can't answer for what your prospective schools will require, however, or what they will ask. When it comes time for the student visa, check back with us if you have any more questions.
Thank you very much for your response. When I was asking about whether or not my age and time frame between when I graduated from high school and now, which is 7 years, would be a problem, not with the school application, I actually was asking if at the embassy, they would ask me questions regarding that?
And what are the likely questions I'd face at the embassy, and likely documents I should have also?

Thanks a lot as I await further assistance

Hello VO

I finished secondary school in 2010 and a lot happened, so I couldn't really further my education, but now, everything is good and fine, and I'm ready to go back to school, I'm 24, I took the SAT in January and I'm about to apply to a school in the US, would they have any issue with my age, And mostly with when I graduated from high school?
What are the likely questions I would be asked, and what are the necessary documents i should have?

Thank you so much, I look forward to being answered unequivocally... God bless
