East is really good for business. I never how commercially viable Nnewi is untill recently.

Jekwu my good friend and fellow Obidient, recently bought 2 plots in Asaba and 3 in Ukpor his hometown.
He is currently fencing the Asaba land to give it value, in few years he will sell the Asaba land use the money to build in his villa.

My Brother thank God oh, this year has been a very good one for me. The way people are demanding for properties down here is crazy. That is why big Real Estate Companies like PWAN is not joking with their Estates over here.

My friend who is a real estate developer in Lagos was complaining bitterly to me that business has been terrible. I told him it's a general problem affecting the whole country since Tinubu removed subsidy. But he said no, it was worse than that. He told me that Igbos used to be the bulk of their customers. They will send their staff to go to Igbo markets like Alaba, Trade Fair or Ladipo to canvas for investors. They're mostly the ones with cash to invest. But today, they've stopped.

These days there staff are sometimes chased away and threatened never to step foot inside their shops again. The man is from Edo state but is into real estate development in Lagos, Benin and P.H.

His situation prompted me to make further inquiries and what I discovered was quite startling. Something dangerous is happening in Lagos and people are not even aware. There is going to be a severe housing crises in the near future. A three bedroom flat will soon be going for 3 million annually and yet people will find it hard renting one. There is going to be proliferation of slums and shanties all over Lagos.

Anyone who is informed knows that what I'm saying here are facts. When people are no longer building houses. Government isn't either. And population keeps growing, then it will only result in proliferation of slums.

People in Lagos will soon find themselves spending all their income on paying rent. While most others who can't cope will end up in slums.

My friend is now focusing in Benin and P.H. while diversifying away from Lagos property development. Others who are proactive should brace up before it's too late.

No wonder Asaba here is booming even Awka, Enugu and Owerri is not left out. This time around Igbos are looking for a permanent solution to their odeal

I am into Real Estate and I know the nitty gritty of this business. For someone to spend this huge amount of money to build this kind of mansion the least thing he can do is not to get approval from various agencies of the Government. These wanton destruction of properties shouldn't be encouraged at all. When these buildings were erected what did the various agencies in--charge did.

Since Lagos is now becoming hostile to Igbos. I think Igbos should activate an exit plan. Asaba, Awka, Enugu, Nnewi are all there for us to explore and develop.

Those Counties have matured democracy where people opinions and view about political leadership has an influence on their political future. You want opposition to find something they will use and demarket them abi.
