If its the menu button it might be a touch problem but if its just a particular function on the screen it recommend firmware update. Its high time you upgrade to W8.1

Thanks for your response sir. The menu button is fine. The functions I don't see any because the booting ends in a blank screen instead of the Win8 homepage with the colourful tiles. That's the problem.

I have had an Olympus E520 for over 5yrs but it was only recently that I started mastering how to use other modes like the shutter and aperture priority modes and adjust the ISO.
Your 3D Graphics background is still largely influencing your photography. If you use a F1.4 or 1.8 lens for your street photos, they will be just perfect, you don't need to change the background.
With your studio its obvious you're in photography for the long haul now. For me, am still contemplating if I want to take it professional. But the passion will always remain.

Ok. "Rooting" , "Custom Recovery" , "Flash ROM".
I guess we looking at fresh instalation and not just a Google Playstore download.
This will require some hardware and software to achieve. If you have any further guidance (eg a link to previsous thread were it has been discussed) will greatly be appreciated.

No response yet to the quoted post. I would also like to know how to upgrade from 2.3.6 android in a tecno B3. Hoping that it might correct the erratic screen flicker that occurs on the phone sometimes. Thanks.
