That is just the number in prison, we never talk the number in cell, guardroom and underground.

On a serious note, this is a failure of the judiciary.

If there is anything that need serious rehab it is the judiciary

Time to get justice served is too long and too wide.

@ Naptu2 the no3 point in your last post on page 801 of your diary.

It says subsidy has even removed.
I don't think so, for reasons I earlier started.

Politics / Re: Hardship: Tinubu Not Responsible For Economic Woes – Ambode by Proudlyngwa(m): 8:02pm On Feb 29
@ Naptu2 based on what you shared from your diary.

I don't think fuel subsidy has been fully removed.
Petrol being a more complex product to refine is usually more expensive than diesel and I think globally only 4 countries have petrol slightly cheaper than diesel.

With petrol almost half the price of diesel, it is safe to say it is still being subsidised, so maybe you need to revisit your post of fuel subsidy being removed.

But they will definitely get there reward

The way APC is doing presently

If Jonathan treated APC like this
You think they would have won 2015 election?

But no wahala
What goes Around comes around

One day APC will not be in power again
By then we will know how far

PDP bragged that they will rule for the next 50 years

Where is PDP today?

Labour party is the main face of opposition presently

They should think twice

Everything Abure said is true

What's the condition of Nigerias Economy recently?

How are Nigerians coping

Oga abure should have used this to talk about his reason for arrest, if he was wrongly arrested or not,

What he did was to seek cheap public sympathy, no where in the write up did he say he was arrested because of fighting for the economy, he just deflected attention by talking about the economy

You don't need to be afraid of anything.
After ones death, what will happen to him is his existence on this earth(his heaven) or his non existence on this earth( his hell fire) and nothing more, depending on whether the person believes or not.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
How do you know this.

Any NDE to back it up.

Even the US, the chief Capitalist country are the most "welfarism" country in the world
In fact they do dapple in socialism time to time
Nigeria can't just turn full capitalist at once
Tinubu is clueless, he did all the "Subsidy is gone" thingy to appear competent, but he's not...

Funny and the most annoying thing is, he subsidies Hajj for almost 200bill but can't subsidies petrol
Even the almighty America still pays 30% subsidy talk less of Nigeria

First and foremost
Nigeria is a capitalist country, any other thing is an attachment.

We don't have the funds to go on a welfarism extravaganza.

Can you provide the link of 200 billion hajj funding

Fuel should never have been subsidized in the first place, we don't have the mechanism to monitor it, can you prove the US pays 30 percent subsidy.

Nigeria needs to stop believing it is a rich country ands it's citizens needs to stop increasing Thier expectations.

Nothing is expensive, we just don't have the money to afford things.

Nigeria has always been a capitalist country.

The problem was government was literally paying everything for you which is called welfarism.

SO price of things have gone to normal, why complaining

Health / Re: CSOs Hold "Let The Poor Live" Protest In Abuja Over Ban On Sachet Alcohol by Proudlyngwa(m): 12:07pm On Feb 08
10mobile:

That's exactly what they want you to think about the sudden ban. They have done it with out caring about the millions that would lose their jobs and families that would go hungry and here you are defending them. They haven't provided any alternative to these millions of people either. Instead, if you don't have an employment and you try to employ yourself, they will take away the electricity and the fuel that would help you in your business.

Now, let me ask you concerning the sudden unprovided-for ban: Compared with MILLIONS MORE Nigerians losing their sources of livelihood, which one do you honestly think would have more immediate, widespread negative impact on the population? I mean, between the sachet drinks and widespread joblessness being created?

Oga the people who loose their job, for killing people with adulterated alchohol deserve to loose their jobs.

So armed robbers should also be allowed to continue their jobs.

That sachet alcohol is grade1 poison, no refined alchohol can be as cheap as that, the annoying thing is the availability of such drinks to minors.

Think of the damage it is causing, government is not run on emotions but reasoning

Religion / Re: The Alarming Rate At Which Secondary School Students Have Sex Today by Proudlyngwa(m): 10:01am On Jan 21
immortalcrown:
Not the solution in this age.

Before condom was introduced in Nigeria, young boys and young girls abstained from sex not for religious reasons but because of fear. Girls were afraid because their parents told them they would become pregnant once they are touched by a man. Boys abstained from sex because their parents told them that once they touch a girl she would be pregnant. The fear of contracting sexually-transmitted diseases was another thing that kept children away from sexual activities then. But immediately condom came and children discovered that they can get away with underage sex, sexual activities began to thrive among children in Nigeria.

It is also wrong to blame social media and movies. Social media platforms don't supply themselves contents and movies don't create themselves. Adults create and release those contents. If social media should be blamed, why are you using the same social media to preach the gospel and tackle societal problems?

Keeping the tools away from them is more effective than trying to change their minds when they have the tools.

Actually boys were told if you looked at a naked woman you would turn to stone and it was true

Jeezuzpick:

Uncle,

The extractive industry is not like manufacturing where you can choose your product.

If you smelt iron ore, you'll get iton, not gold or copper.

If you refine petroleum, PETROL MUST BE ONE IF THE PRODUCTS!!

Loss or no loss, there will be PMS and DPK among the products.

Unlike when we have been importing products and can select what we wanna buy, the refinery will spit out PMS and DPK whether they like it or not!

Why are they not telling us petrol will also hit the market?

Mmmmmmmmmm?

No there won't, if there is no equipment to achieve fractional distillation, you won't get PMS

Jeezuzpick:

Toh. No wahala.

Some of us know, sha, that PMS and DPK will distil over before AGO, because they are more volatile (they vaporise at lower temperatures) so, logically, they should be produced first.

Unless the system is not complete resulting in PMS and DPK fumes being burnt via flaring (which makes so little sense, I'm embarrassed to even write it!) Someone is telling us a big fat lie, as usual.

Roski1:
Bros, it’s only in Nigeria that there is nothing special in soldiering, that’s why the soldiers are not giving any special result. If you are sincere in your comments, you would have also quoted the part where I wrote against the disgraceful manner the governor went about the arrest. In civilized climes, he would be the bigger looser. Though the soldier would be punished, but I bet you the governor would have to offer apologies for the manner in which he conducted the arrest, making derogatory comments and insulting the soldiers father. He may even be forced to resign. Just imagine this video trending on CNN or Aljazeera. In the USA, a policeman lost his job for malhandling a soldier who committed an offense. Try travel out and see things for yourself. Soldiering job is the biggest sacrifice anyone can make in life. In Nigeria, it’s even like committing suicide being a soldier, considering the challenges on ground. Let Nigerian soldiers be treated with respect. Not everyone has the courage to be a soldier. Afterall, many of those taking one way are doing so to minimize fuel due to the high cost and you know that. It’s only politicians that are not feeling the heat, even business men are not finding it funny. I am not against punishing the soldier oh, because I have seen how orderly things are done in the west and I wish they could be done in Nigeria. However, the dehumanizing manner the arrest was carried out pissed me off.

Oga being a soldier is just a job,

No special sacrifice.
I work in the oil and Gas induction which has 10 times higher risk than being a soldier, am I asking for any favour.

What I produce when sold, trains the soldier, buys his gun and pays his salary.

SO why should he be treated specially, just because he has a gun and the numbers.

The job of a soldier is to protect this country, when he is off duty, he has no special privileges and in discarding his responsibility he is duty bound to do it professionally.

He is not the one that pays himself.
He is accountable to the masses and Authorities.
