TheStrongest:Bro, it’s totally true! Hollywood’s been totally fixated on stuff like gender and race for movie characters lately, and it’s like they’ve forgotten how to tell a good story. These past few years, it’s all about who’s on screen fitting some diversity vibe instead of, like, what’s actually dope for the plot. You know what I mean—think about that all-chick Ghostbusters redo or swapping up The Little Mermaid’s race. It’s not even about the story needing it; it’s just them flexing “look how inclusive we are!” And yeah, I get it, representation’s awesome, but it’s like they’re just slapping checkmarks on a list instead of giving us characters we can root for. It’s seriously throwing everything off. Characters end up feeling like these stiff mascots for some cause, not real peeps with killer arcs. You hop on X, and it’s a mess—every new trailer drops, and folks are like, “Ugh, more woke crap!” or “Quit pandering!” Even the stats are screaming it: that 2023 UCLA diversity thing said there’s more diverse leads than ever, but then you’ve got stuff like Velma or Rings of Power tanking ‘cause the story’s just meh. Hollywood’s out here acting like movies are TED Talks, and I’m not shocked people are ghosting when it’s all preachy and zero fun. By the way

Kaycee7:The top 10 series of 2024 either are adapted or have existing lore. Only a tiny fraction of the top series are originals bro. Most original series with new storylines and plots have to follow certain gender and race guidelines in Hollywood before writers even pick a pen. Some turn out to be great of course mostly because of how talented the writers are but not all writers can write great stories with those restrictions 🤷🏽♂️ |
God1000:Man 😂😂 you must be very stupid. How does Trump who gave Ukraine weapons to defend itself before the Ukraine invasion have a bromance with Putin. Why's it that Putin never invaded a country during Trump's presidency but did during Obama and Biden's time. We Americans are tired of sending money to a stalemate war with no end in sight for literally no gain for Americans |
Kaycee7:Definitely not! That's because it's a Hollywood standard right now to put gender first place before competence and a great story. If it was two guys which is almost impossible in Hollywood- I will be very surprised |
DieRich5:Girl boss once again. They could have made it boy and girl |
isaiah9:SPOILERS!!!!!!!!! |
In a significant diplomatic triumph for President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a public statement on X today, expressing regret over a contentious White House meeting last Friday and signaling Ukraine’s readiness to negotiate a lasting peace under Trump’s leadership. The development marks a pivotal moment in U.S.-Ukraine relations, reinforcing Trump’s assertive approach to ending the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict and positioning him as a decisive global leader. During the heated Oval Office meeting on February 28, 2025, Trump and Zelensky clashed publicly over U.S. support for Ukraine, with Trump criticizing Zelensky for perceived ingratitude toward American assistance. The confrontation, widely reported by NPR and The Washington Post, led Trump to pause military aid to Kyiv and declare on social media that Zelensky was “not ready for peace.” However, Zelensky’s latest statement—issued just days after Trump’s decisive move—signals a dramatic shift, with the Ukrainian leader now pledging to work “under President Trump’s strong leadership” to achieve a durable peace agreement. In his post, Zelensky outlined a roadmap for immediate steps, including the release of prisoners, a truce banning missiles, drones, and attacks on civilian infrastructure, and a ceasefire at sea, contingent on reciprocal actions from Russia. He also expressed Ukraine’s readiness to sign a minerals and security agreement with the U.S. “any time and in any convenient format,” a deal that had been left unsigned after the fiery White House encounter. This olive branch underscores Trump’s leverage in international negotiations, as Zelensky acknowledged the U.S.’s critical role in supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty, specifically citing Trump’s 2017 decision to provide Javelins—anti-tank missiles that marked a turning point in U.S. military aid, according to the Arms Control Association. “President Trump’s bold strategy has forced a recalcitrant Zelensky to the negotiating table,” said a senior White House official, speaking on condition of anonymity. “By standing firm and prioritizing America’s interests, Trump has not only secured a potential end to a costly conflict but also positioned the U.S. as the indispensable broker for global peace.” The timing of Zelensky’s statement coincides with Trump’s broader geopolitical maneuvers, including recent meetings with Russian officials in Istanbul and a planned summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Critics, including some European leaders and Democrats like Senator Jeanne Shaheen, have expressed alarm over Trump’s pivot toward Russia and the pause in military aid, warning it could embolden Moscow. However, Trump supporters argue that his unorthodox approach—highlighted by the dramatic White House standoff—has exposed weaknesses in Ukraine’s position and accelerated the path to a resolution. “Trump’s toughness is exactly what’s needed to deal with leaders like Zelensky and Putin,” said Republican strategist Gabe Martinez. “This isn’t about appeasement—it’s about America winning, and today’s statement from Zelensky proves Trump’s strategy is working.” The Ukrainian leader’s reference to a “regrettable” White House meeting and his call for “constructive” future cooperation further validate Trump’s hardline stance. Zelensky’s proposal for a rapid peace process, including truces and a final deal brokered with U.S. support, echoes past frameworks like the 2022 Istanbul Communiqué, but it now hinges on Trump’s leadership—a clear acknowledgment of his influence, as noted by Reuters. While some of Zelensky’s domestic critics on X accused him of capitulating or misrepresenting Ukraine’s war efforts, the international response has been mixed. European allies, shaken by the U.S. aid pause and Trump’s aggressive diplomacy, are reportedly convening emergency summits to bolster their own support for Kyiv. However, Trump’s allies see this as evidence of his ability to reshape global alliances in America’s favor. As Trump prepares to address Congress later this week, the Zelensky statement is being hailed as a historic win, cementing his reputation as a dealmaker capable of resolving one of the world’s most intractable conflicts. With Ukraine now openly aligning itself with Trump’s vision for peace, the stage is set for a potential U.S.-brokered agreement that could redefine the geopolitical landscape, delivering a resounding victory for the Trump administration.

Baddestguyp:Like i said the series is not popular for its storyline- nonetheless, it's still 10% of the story🤷♂️. As someone who has read the manga - things can go apeshit - he could lose both his mother and sister- he could kill his father 🙃🙃 no spoilers. Keep watching boss. |
In a sharp rebuke that has reignited transatlantic tensions, U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly criticized the European Union, accusing it of prioritizing Russian oil and gas purchases over financial support for Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict with Russia. The statement has sparked widespread debate and drawn attention to Europe’s complex energy dependencies and geopolitical alliances. “Europe has spent more money buying Russian Oil and Gas than they have spent on defending Ukraine —BY FAR!” Trump declared in the post, accompanied by images of himself, the EU flag, and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The post, which has quickly gone viral, underscores Trump’s long-standing criticism of European nations for their reliance on Russian energy, a stance he has maintained since his first term in office. The claim aligns with recent analyses, including a report from the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (Crea), which revealed that in 2024, EU member states spent €21.9 billion (£18.1 billion) on Russian fossil fuels—surpassing the €18.7 billion in financial aid allocated to Ukraine that year, according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. This disparity has fueled accusations that Europe’s energy purchases are inadvertently funding Russia’s war chest, enabling President Putin’s military operations in Ukraine, now in its third year since the 2022 invasion. The news has resonated with a growing trend on social media, where commentators and analysts have echoed Trump’s sentiments. EU citizens are calling Europe’s energy strategy a “hypocrisy” that undermines its stated support for Ukraine. CNN’s Jake Tapper even acknowledged the issue, noting on X that “Europeans are funding both sides of the war” by continuing to buy Russian oil and gas while providing aid to Kyiv. European leaders have yet to respond directly to Trump’s latest salvo, but the criticism comes at a sensitive time. The EU has been working to reduce its dependence on Russian energy through sanctions and diversification efforts, including targeting Russia’s “shadow fleet” of tankers and closing loopholes in energy sanctions. However, progress has been slow, and Russia remains a major supplier, accounting for a significant portion of Europe’s natural gas and oil imports. In the U.S., Trump’s statement has drawn mixed reactions. Some Republican lawmakers, like Sen. Kevin Cramer, have defended the president’s “masterful” approach to negotiating peace in Ukraine, while others, including Sen. Susan Collins, have emphasized Russia’s role as the aggressor in the conflict. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has repeatedly urged Western allies, including the EU and the U.S., to bolster support for Kyiv, warning of the dire consequences of faltering aid. This encapsulates the triangular tension at play: the U.S. challenging Europe’s policies, Europe navigating its economic ties with Russia, and Russia leveraging energy exports to sustain its military efforts in Ukraine. As the conflict enters its fourth year, Trump’s remarks have reignited discussions about the West’s strategy, Europe’s energy security, and the broader geopolitical rivalry between major powers. Analysts suggest that Trump’s criticism could pressure European leaders to accelerate their shift away from Russian energy, but it also risks deepening the transatlantic divide. “This isn’t just about money—it’s about priorities and perceptions,” said Vaibhav Raghunandan, an analyst at Crea. “Europe’s continued purchases of Russian fossil fuels send a mixed message about its commitment to Ukraine and its opposition to Putin.” As the story unfolds, the world watches to see whether Trump’s provocative statement will catalyze change in Europe’s energy policies or further strain alliances already tested by the Ukraine war. For now, the hashtag #EuropeRussiaEnergy is trending globally, with users debating the implications of Trump’s bold claim and Europe’s next moves on the world stage.

samistry:😂😂Maybe he probably forgot this is just like 10% of the manga |
Baddestguyp:FACTS!!!! You guys arguing against baddestguyp are somewhat clueless what he means - he’s not saying the show is bad! It’s one of the best animes I have watched for what it is- it is not known for its complex storyline like AOT or Castlevania it’s known for its superb animation and fight sequences and it’s not pretentious about it and that’s what I love about the show🤷🏾♂️ it knows what it's and doesn't take itself too seriously. Just enjoy great visuals and animation that Hollywood would probably use 2 billion to make |
abduleez1:From telegram bro - the guy who owns the channel has an apple tv subscription - that's really the only way you can watch it without the cinema! I enjoyed flow more because of how original it is especially in the animation industry 🤷🏾♂️ movies are not chosen just because of how entertaining it's if it was just that, Deadpool will win the best picture. Just my opinion tho |
abduleez1:Only 4 films deserved best picture nominations there compared to the movies that came out this year Dune Part Two I'm still here The Substance The Brutalist The movies that were totally snubbed Nosferatu A Different Man Ghostlight All we imagine as light Flow Furiosa |
DieRich5:No you haven't seen the real guy yet! |
PrinceofAgoAre:The S-Ranks are extremely weak compared to him even the ants are not too and he knows that - he's just like one punch man - very strong with no real villains compared to him. But we're getting to a point where he'll be extremely weak compared to the villains coming and not to spoil it for you but it's actually one of the villains that gave him the ability to solo level |
Baddestguyp:It wasn't JUST gifted to him but he didn't earn it either since he didn't know what he was getting. He earned it because he was hard working enough to get more powerful Also the fact that no one sees Ji Woo as the villain yet is stupid. If you've read the manga, he's not even powerful yet compared to the people he'll soon meet |
People are not glazing Severance enough!!! Episode 7 is the best piece of cinema I've ever watched in my life and there's no competition. The fact that this is the director's debut is insane after all she's done is cinematography! |
abduleez1:Sincerely you can’t imagine how much I’m rooting for the Michael Jackson biopic to succeed. It's 1. Written by one of the greatest writers in Hollywood history (John Logan) 2. It could be the most entertaining biopics ever because every minute of Michael's life is televised, publicised right from when he was a child - he never just spawned to the limelight - he WAS the limelight - the most popular image after Jesus in his time way before the internet. 3. Directed by one of the best black directors in Hollywood with no misses in my book (Antoine Fuqua) 4. Releasing during Halloween a time when reaches Mariah Carey Christmas time level fame. 5. Directors who have seen the pre-releases said they were in tears after the cameras rolled out saying it's a really emotional driven cut. I can't wait to watch the movie! |
