Please, does anyone knows where precisely I can collect my NECO GCE (2008) certificate from - the school I sat for the exam or NECO Office, Lagos?
Kindly answer this question with precision. I am currently undergoing a multinational company's recruitment process and my O'level certificate is needed urgently because print out is not accepted and my WAEC certificate is in a very place.

Yes, it'd be accepted. O'level entails WASSCE or SSCE. Just ensure you have at least 5 credits.

I got admitted in 2008 with 2 sitting waec result, I sat for GCE in 2010 bcs I foresaw d future,I filled d GCE form with my real age and made 1 sitting.

Fast foward 2015 graduated completed NYSC labour market few jobs to many applicants, employers will look for any little thing to screen applicants out.

I attended an interview last month I presented the 2010 GCE certficate, they said I wasn't admitted in to school in 2010, I was asked to bring the olevel I used in gaining admission even if I had jst 1 credit in it, they actually wanted to confirm if I resat because I wanted to change my age and after confirming I didn't change my age , I was screened with d 2010 GCE certificate.

My advice he should rewrite and be truthful in his age when filling d form...

2015 thousands of unemployed graduates, by 2017 when he will probably be in the labour market their will be more unemployed graduates with serious screening of applicants by employers.

[[b][/b]This is to inform the students that participated in the the long awaited NECO result 2017/2018 that the result was to b out on d 25th of September 2017, but a NECO official stated on d 29th of August 2017, [i][/i]that d result will b out in 2 weeks time, that is, on d 14th of Sept. 2017, it maybe sooner or later , but his report identifies d result should be out next week. For students eager to use the result for futher studies (admission purposes) ... GOODLUCK!

It all started 3-days ago.was feeling like a king initially, but recently getting surprised.cant believe I can be getting more than 300 facebook request on each day.accepted all on the first day but was being careful after than when I realized that it's becoming unusual.Today,i have received more than 200.i accepted some while others were deleted.more request are still coming in even up to this moment.could see some request notifications popping up.and 80% of them are from the female folks.who else is experiencing this?

Please, well meaning nairalanders, help a brother.

I have landed myself in deep mess. During September last year, a distant relation of mine living in the UK, who was barely surviving, managed to send me 200k naira, to pay up all fees, as regards my education in the University this year, as a fresher.

This money was sent before i even took the schools Post UTME exam. You should understand that she sent the money ahead of time because she knew i was intelligent enough to get the admission. But then, i have been denied admission with a high jamb score in this same uniben, 2016.

But, proceedingly, i was not getting any younger, so, 2017 came and i decided to use the 200k thousand naira i was supposed to use to pay my school fees and acceptance fee. I used it to process my admission into the University of benin. That is, i used the money to sort my admission. Actual amount i used was 150k tho.

Now that i have been admitted into the University as a medical student, i don't have any money to pay my school fee again. The major fees am supposed to pay are,; acceptance fee of 80k and school fee of 73k.

Looking back now, i feel very disappointed in myself and ashamed of myself, but then, though i feel very remorseful, you all should understand that i took this decision after considering a lot of factors and possible scenarios, as i was expecting to get more money from family members when i eventually get admitted,but no money came from anybody, plus the state of the economy of the country was not helping matters either

Financial assistance is what i desperately need now. Also i would also love constructive Advices too, from people who might have had similar experience. But please don't advice me to tell my parents, cos they are late(some 10 years ago).

MEANWHILE, I WON'T BE NEEDING THIS ASSISTANCE NEXT YEAR.
