Well I'm not from Delta State else I would have taken you to the cleaners because truth be told, Aniomas are miles ahead of Urhobo in terms of human resources and I'm being real here.

Your Dad nko where is he from?

The truth is the ethnic boundaries between Isoko and urhobo is very vague. Urhobo towns like evreni and uhweru languages are the closest to Isoko, infact they speak isoko with an urhobo style and I hear they used to be part of eastern urhobo (now isoko) while enwhe in isoko is closest to urhobo and they even say Yare instead nyaze for cum.

I have this in law from uhweru who was convinced that what my parents were speaking is urhobo while they(my parents) told my sister independently that what her husband was speaking isoko.

But outside of those two towns, maybe another time sha...
bro isoko is a edoid language spoken by the urhobo people of delta state and some part of Bayelsa.. even some kwale friends around me will tell you they're not igbo.. that's a lie. they're igbo.. politics.. religion and so many other things are dividing us.. and we dont even notice it, not until it's too late..

take ijaw as an example
from the picture I attached below.. you'll see list of ijaw spoken languages.. does that mean they're not ijaw?? even Jonathan does not speak the ijaw language mainly recognized by other ethnic groups.. it's a bit diff.. but that doesn't mean hes not an ijaw man

we should learn to differentiate language from ethnicity

isoko is urhobo.. you're mistaking language for ethnicity.. do a little bit of research on the isoko people.. and you'll see that isoko is just a language in urhobo... just like we have egba, ijebu in yoruba.. so a ijebu man is no longer a yoruba man, shey?? even the ijaws have over 5 diff spoken languages.. so that doesn't make them ijaw??

At this point I realized this conversation isn't based on facts but on sentiments and opinions. And it is illogical to argue against anyone's opinion, because each is entitiled to own one no matter how baseless, illogical and unsensual it could be.

But as a matter of fact; you cannot bring Asaba into this context same reason you cannot bring Abuja into an argument of "North is more developed than West". Because Abuja is the capital and thus developed with the collective resources of the Nation, same as Asaba being developed with the collective resources of Delta.
bro nah warri develop asaba grin grin.. asaba is just a state capital by name..

Who made urhobo people the largest in Delta state? Or are you including isoko people as part of urhobo? Saying that urhobo are the largest in Delta state is like saying that ijaw people are the 4th largest in Nigeria grin this lies has been exposed many times in Delta state, which is the reason urhobo always attach with isoko people.Anioma beat urhobo in everything both in education, sports, influential both Nigeria and international, and development, people always think that warri belong to urhobo people
this is the reason why they say igbos like to brag.n. and that's what you're doing... urhobos are the largest in delta state.. I wont even argue it with you because you wont be able to give any proof other than boast of how you're good in sport education business whatever.. give me one proof which shows that anioma is larger than orhobo in delta state.. and I will show you 10 diff proof that oppose your claim..

the urhobos and ijaws are the major reason okowa is governor in delta state.. based on political ties to pdp.. aside that.. who knows anioma?? are you forgotten the capital of delta state was suppose to be ughelli before it was shifted to asaba.. like I said urhobos dont speak in one voice.. otherwise we wont be having people like you telling us trash here

[[s]quote author=Mystiquefia post=89683768]..Because Just as Niger-deltan States receive more allocation from FAAC revenue, oil producing local governments also receive more at JOINT ACCOUNT MEETINGS between states and local government. So you see why Anioma is no different from the north for instance? They produce less resources but are programmed to benefit more and be spoon food from the resources that ordinarily in situation where absolute control were practiced they wouldn't benefit that much. No Wonder They Call You Delta "north" Because, You're just as parasitic as your Masters in far away north[/s] You're beating around the bush tell me what urhobo people as produce than Anioma people cheesy tell me the urhobo land that is more developed than Anioma land grin tell me any urhobo woman death and alive that is stronger and powerful than Dr Ngozi cheesy tell me any footballer from urhobo land that is greater than jay jay okocha grin tell me the rich man in urhobo land that is richer without corruption case than Dr Ned nwoko grin tell me any under 22 girl in urhobo land that is powerful than Nwanyiogwashi shocked grin
honestly I get your point about urhobo.. the orhobo's are the largest in delta state. and they also have most lands in delta.. but they seem to be one of the most irrelevant.. they even find it difficult to win state elections and they have the population... the men sit and drink (ogogoro) their females are very hardworking.... but this I've stated. doesn't mean they contribute nothing to delta state... if you're talking raw materials the urhobos have it over the anioma people.. but for human resources.. I think the igbos have it more.. this is just my opinion.. my mom is urhobo...

the urhobo people have gat to learn to speak with one voice... even the ijaws who are scattered all over ss.. seems to be more organized than them

Yes, the tiny communities that identify with being Yorubas.

Have you forgotten they have Opc amongst the Ishekiri?
opc amongst itsekiri grin grin go tell them itseke guys that one first and you'll see that kind of response you'll get.. itsekiri tribe are like children to edo people.. we were taught this in school.. just because itsekiri language sounds similar to yoruba doesn't make them yoruba.. even some parts of ijaw language is similar to yoruba and igbo.. but that doesn't make them yoruba nor igbo..

egun language in lagos and orhobo language is very similar and sounds alike.. but that doesn't make egun languages as urhobo
