Gladiator II was 7/10 for me, the cinematography was the high point, the money was well spent. Story wise, it was nothing original or moving, just okay. The cast was solid, though I didn't think they had much to work with in terms of dialogue, too light.

The biggest shocker for me was Denzel Washington. Why on earth did he retain his American accent and mannerisms in a bloody Roman historical movie? In addition to that, he was not convincing as a scheming usurper and his moves lacked real cunning. He just became a cartoon villain at the end.

You know what, pretty pictures and action I've seen a thousand times are not enough, so I'm going to minus one mark.

Yeah clocking it now, The Jackal's name is on the title of the show 😅😩, It's his day, and the protagonist of the whole thing, morals aside. So if anybody was surviving this season, he was always gonna be him.

Bianca was no saint...The deaths of Emma and Allison were avoidable, but she was to enveloped in the idea of catching the Jackal to care... probably deserved to get got in hindsight...so i yield....on to season 2.
