abduleez1: Bruv...forgive me oo. Na mistake I made with the trailers.
It was actually the DUNE series I'm talking about with Ragnar Lothbrok.
I had forgotten I'd copied the liñk to the LOTR movie to go and post in the movie thread. This War of The Rohirrim will be in theatres this December. Its from WB animation.
Illusioneffect: The fact no one is talking about The Substance here is soooo insane to me! Literally a top 5 best movies of 2024 to me so far! And the fact this is just the Director's second movie
abduleez1: Who be that guy wey dey doubt me when I told him Ragnar Lothbrok is on this show?? 🙄🙄
Pu7pl3 this trailer wey I see so, Omo this people truly no dey joke sha.... Be like say HBO don nab two of the best shows of the last quarter of the year. The funny thing is, these shows actually aren't really HBO Original shows but actually from Max.
COOL10: Lol, my account was banned yesterday, but I'm not quite sure I'm the person you think you're talking to. I'm different from the person I share a similar moniker with. This is a different "cool". Mine is with capital letters and a "10". 😎
COOL10: Hmmm, that could be a possibility, but it's not a strong enough reason to betray Brian only to become Moxley's sidekick. Perhaps in the coming weeks he'll speak more and explain himself.
I love the dialogue he had with Yuta backstage where Yuta asked him his reason for betraying Brian and he told Yuta to trust him. It could be that he has a hidden motive different from Moxley's.
It's perfectly okay to enjoy the movie purely for it's entertainment value, but if you think this movie has some good storytelling or good twist, I will be heavily disappointed in you
Even the romance is wack and barely believable
Heyy but that wedding tho, that reverend is goated🤭🤭
There are somethings that aren't just possible due to the natural laws as we know them.
But honestly fingers crossed.
Does natural laws support rockets flying through space at unimaginable speeds? I'm sure the mainstream scientists in the 18th century would have laughed at the idea of that whole concept but look at us now...
armadeo: Theoretically. There was a machine in interstellar if I remember that was used for the time travel.
I also remember the end where the people lived on some spaceship that was curved.
For now those are impossibilities. They remain theories. He exited time and reentered layer ( this is my argument where can you exist outside the laws of time. What's laws govern that place outside time and if it exists what makes you think we can survive under the laws ).
The flow of time cannot be mastered easily. We are watching time trying to understand it with our human mind. Time moves on, no matter how we feel about it.
I also remember smart hulks explanation of time travel and time lines. That made more sense than my favourite back to the future.
I don't know what you're arguing on about my bro. I clearly stated that in theory time travel is possible as many reputable scientists have postulated. It remains to be seen if it can actually be applied IRL. For now though they are all still just theories. Some seem more far fetched than others but all of them consistent with its workability.
I'm also quite sure that with more time time travel will be possible. And it wouldn't seem Soo far fetched anymore.
I believe Time itself stand still and the same time, it moves. It stand still with dates. Take for example 05-10-1983 etc. That itself is Time standing still, and Time can't go back to that time again, but it might be possible, humans can, with the aide of machines, just like aeroplanes, that usually take us from one time zone, to another.
The blackhole theory just make it easier to people to arrive at their various Time destination.
Take for example, going to Egypt. Egypt is 2 hours ahead of us, if I'm to walk there, it will probably take me more time, and also age me during the process of walking there. So using an aeroplane, it takes me less time and doesn't age me, much as walking will age me. This is the same logical explanation I have that buttress the blackhole theory.
You have raised a very compelling discussion today bro
armadeo: Theoretically it's not sound. Time moves uniformly in one direction. You'll have to stepnout of the stream at one point and reenter at another. Question is where would you be if you stepped out ?
If Time travel is possible teleportation will also be possible.
If you think about it theoretically it's sound and logical that's why interstellar got all the accolades it did.
Baddestguyp: So I finally watched The Penguin after all the praises I saw online...
And yeah, it's good. Far better than I expected. It doesn't even feel like a show related to a superhero verse.
The character writing is the most impressive part of the show so far to me. I didn't expect character writing of this level from a superhero related show. Sofia for instance is such a really well-written character...
Honestly, the only reason why I was hesitant to watch it is due to the terrible writing of superhero related series like MoonKnight...
Terrible superhero verse related shows like MoonKnight completely killed any sort of vibe to watch superhero related shows...
But I'm glad I gave this show a chance
And where did IGN's 5/10 for this show come from? The remaining episodes would have to be extremely poor to match that 5/10 scoreline
oyaskii: she left his window open, so that he would survive. She use carbon monoxide poisoning, and when carbon monoxide mixes with "Air" (oxygen), it quickly becomes Carbon dioxide which is non-toxic. You can see in the scene, that the view pans to the window to reveal it was open.
