Housa... A group that travels out of the country to only attend some prayers sponsored by the government .... 0% contributions to the state of Nigeria. Ruled for like ages yet can not give 1% to their region.... yet we trust them again to bring development this time around ....


We can never reach the height of south Africa if some people still preach that a woman don't have to go to school.... If some group still want to destroy western education but they still use phone to coordinate their attacks and yet phone are what the west brought us ....

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, has been asked to as a matter of urgency, rename the aso rock presidential villa after late Moshood Kashimawo Abiola

This was the resolve of the Students Union Government (SUG) of the Lagos State University (LASU) during a walk in memory of the adjudged winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election in Ojota area of Lagos on Thursday, June 11.
President of the union, Wasiu Adeyemi, who led the group of students from Maryland to the freedom park in Ojota, noted that the late MKO Abiola remains a hero of Nigeria’s democracy, who has become a reference point for politicians of this generation.

In a chat with Naij.com early Friday, the students’ union leader, popularly called ‘Awo’, noted that: “we are saying that the late MKO Abiola is a hero of Nigerian democracy, who deserves more than we are doing to appreciate him.
The federal government must recognise June 12 as a public holiday and ensure that it is celebrated as Nigeria’s democracy day instead of the May 29 that is nationally acknowledged for that occasion.”

Speaking on the renaming of the aso rock villa after the late politician, Adeyemi reiterated the stand of the LASU students, noting that: “the new administration has to rename the aso rock villa after MKO Abiola because he truly deserves it as a national icon.”

The Rivers State House of Assembly on Thursday approved a loan of N10 billion requested by the State Governor, Nyesom Wike.

The state governor had sent a letter to the House of Assembly asking that he should be granted approval to secure the loan that would be used to fund some major projects in the state.

28 lawmakers voted in favour of the approval.

Speaker of the House, Mr. Ikuinyi Ibani, in his remark, explained that it would be difficult for any government to survive without funds to operate.

Ibani, who pointed that the House would not be involved in frivolous approvals, added that the state legislature would endorse transparent and sincere requests that would benefit the people of the state.

Explaining that the immediate past administration left an empty treasury, the Speaker disclosed that the loan would be taken from Zenith Bank and repaid through Valued Added Tax.

He said, “He (Wike) cannot do that without cash back. No government can run without a financial base. We must provide succour for our people, so that they can begin to see changes between yesterday and today.

“This Assembly will not engage in frivolous approval and resolutions. As an Assembly, we have the responsibility to know what the funds sought are meant for.”

Meanwhile, the State House of Assembly has committed the High Court Amendment Law 2015 to an ad hoc committee to conduct a public hearing on the matter.

Here's what happened; a lady invited a male friend to go eat dinner at an Italian restaurant. After ordering an expensive dish and eating his fill, the bill came and he asked her to pay for it.
