Good day my fellow Nairalanders. Guess you're doing good.

Finally,my brothers and sisters,I've broken up with my traditional religious girlfriend. Not that I broke up with her simply because she was fetish but what really broke my heart was when I got to realize she had always been in contact with her ex. I couldn't bear the pain. She even told me straight up that she can't stop talking to him because they aren't enemies. I even told her to choose between me and her other male friends who have been calling her every night and she said she can't let go of them because of me. Then ,I manned up and let her go,in peace.

Now, I've decided to go into the dating pool once again. My experiences so far hasn't been beautiful because I've met beautiful souls as well as kangaroos disguising as single women

So far,out of the 6 ladies I've met so far,5 were single mothers. The other one was in a serious relationship but was ready to give me a chance. But I wasn't ready to be in the friend zone praying for another man's relationship to break so that I could enter. I told her categorically that that isn't what I wanted. And we ended our talking stage, abruptly and , peacefully.

Now,what I discovered was that all of the single mothers I met were all in the age range of 24-30 years. Could it be as a result of parental failure? Or it was their greed that led them into such lifetime mistakes? These thoughts have been running Helter skelter in my head since I encountered all of them. 3 out them all complained about different men coming to sleep with them and running away because they didn't want to go into any serious relationship with a single mother. One of them even asked me to promise to take care of her son. I told her instantly that I wasn't ready to do that. Then I asked about her son's father and she said he was in the same town with them. On hearing that,I lost every single bit of erection and little affection I had for her.

So,my brothers who are now married but were once single,how did you guys manage to escape from this single and searching phase without getting entangled with these type of ladies our societies have kept on producing and dishing out,in recent years?

Happy new year to every Nairalander out there .

2025 was really a very tough year for many average Nigerians, including myself but thank God we were able to scale through.

But just as the curtain of last year drew close,I sat down and thought about my life, generally. And one thing I realized, thought aloud about and asked myself was--"Do I have helpers at all?" . Like who do I call should troubles come knocking on my door?" "Do I have the kind of friends who can raise up to a million naira for me in times of emergency?". These questions,tho seemed rhetorical but they kept ringing in my head all through last night .

In my own little way,I have been of help to my friends and family,especially those within my circle and they can attest to that as a fact. But should the table turn, would they be able to replicate such helps? Well,I don't think so coz the one and only time I got myself into trouble,I was abandoned and I felt how isolation feels like for the first time. So I think it's high time I reduced my circle to the minimal state of better still take myself off any circle that isn't beneficiary to me.

So my fellow Nairalanders,who do you call upon in your times of need or troubles?

Please there's this thing that has been bothering my mind. My lady and I have been living together for some time now and i'm beginning to suspect she's cheating on me. She usually answers call from one particular guy who always call her on the phone. Last night,the same number was calling her right in my presence and she didn't pick. She lied it was a call from MTN,and I pretended as tho I was going out. But she i stood beside the door and was eavesdropping when she picked the call and was smiling and laughing with the said guy on the phone. Tho I haven't confronted her. But I think it'd be so unchildish to confront her cos she'll definitely deny it.

Please guys, could it be she's cheating on me cos I'm so confused right now.

Good morning Nairalanders. Merry Christmas and a prosperous happy new year in advance to each and every one of us here

My girlfriend called me last night to request for money for Christmas hair. She knows I'm presently broke and doesn't have the amount of money she's demandingly for. So I told her to go and cut her hair . She took that as an offense and been angry with me since the conversation started. She has been demanding for 30knfor hair and 80k for clothes for the Christmas. To make the whole matter Worst,she told me the relationship may end along with 2025 if I fail to provide the money for her. Those words have been ringing in my head since she dropped them ,but I'm confused and I don't know if that's enough reason to end a relationship of over 3 years+ which we've suffered to build together,all because of ordinary Christmas hair and clothes . Is she normal at all?

Please my fellow Nairalanders, should I consider this as a red flag and dump her cos I don't think I've done anything wrong to her by asking her to cut her hair . She even looks more prettier on low hair cut ,from her look during the last time she cut her hair

Good morning Nairalanders, Please there's this issue that has been bothering me for a while now. There's this lady whom I met and have been dating for about 3 years now.

Though we've been doing alright all these while but suddenly she started having dreams concerning my family. Last night, she had a dream and she said inside the dream, my elder sister was berating her why she hasn't gotten pregnant for me all these while.

The truth of the matter is that we've only been cohabiting for 8 months and she hasn't for once missed her period.

Whenever we made love, I always noticed that she'd go the bathroom to pee and wash her private part. I have asked many elderly people around what that means and they keep telling me she doesn't want to get pregnant. Is that even possible at all?

The other disturbing part is that her mother is a traditional religious woman who worships the gods of her village and my woman also does the same. Recently I've been considering on how to marry her and have even been working towards it, and would be around March, next year.

Please, Nairalanders, what could be the problem. Should I go ahead with the whole relationship, considering how her family background is surrounded by the traditional religious practices of her family and how fetish she's. Could that also be the reason she has been finding it very difficult to take in?
