Yes, rainbow lite is better than pregnacare. Other brands that have VERY good reviews include mega food baby and me, garden of life vitamin code raw prenatal , Zahler Prenatal , Thorne basic research prenatal, New chapter perfect prenatal. In prenatal vitamin reviews in the US, one or more of these brands must be included in the reviews as best in the market. I
Sad news is that if you are in Nigeria, you may not easily find them to buy. I looked for it tire...I No see. I managed to see Centrum in Abj pharmacy and after I finished that one, I couldn't find another to buy. So was forced to use pregnacare.

My confusion about rainbow light is that it has so many different types i dont know which one is best.

Mama am already on pregnacare. Not that its not ok for me,but i feel i can get something tested & deemed better from experienced mama & which i can always buy outside of amazon. Any idea?
Some say Rainbow lite is better, but i dont know how true.

I switched for 2 reasons:
I was traveling and needed to buy 3 packets and that came upto 6,000*3=18,000 (in this buhari economy )
Pronatal was 2100*3=6,300

2. Pronatal is for pre, during and post pregnancy. So im still taking mine after childbirth.

Initially I was on pregnacare plus and I used to take it at night with a plate of asun or in my eba mould cos of the size and quantity of the drugs.
The last 2months of my pregnancy I switched to pronatal which I found a lot easier to swallow and it has no smell or taste.

Pls did you switch cos pronatal is better than pregnacare. or was it what was highly recommended for u when u travelled?
I want to switch from pregnacare cos the only place am able to buy it in the US is tru Amazon, but really trying to find out which one is the best supp.

This your comment reminds me of my experience with one scan center like that.

At 8 weeks I was scanned by an experienced Dr at the general hospital who confirmed I was 8 weeks gone and said there was fatal heart beat and all the necessary things that needs to be seen at 8 weeks.

me not convinced about his report because he was not talking to me while doing the scan, he didn't say anything to me even when I asked him questions he just put everything in the report.

when I came out I just told my husband that I don't like the way the Dr did not tell me anything but put it in the report so I don't trust him, I told dh to take me to a private scan center to re assure myself that I am pregnant.

so we went into this scan center o, the man checked and checked and told me that he can't see anything, later on he said I should be around 6 weeks that he can see a gestational sac but no heart beat and no fetal pole, if you see the way jumped up from that his table ehn! the man fear.

when we were going home dh asked if we should look for another place I told him no thanks I have had enough I will follow the first dr's report.

so I think some of these scan center operators are quarks.

It's just so overwhelming how charlatans & quacks organize themselves, open centers as they like without any regulation whatsoever and defraud Nigerians without anybody saying or doing jack about it.

Again before i went to meet the clueless sonographer, i had already become friends and serious choco o with the owner of the place. And the man had already promised to attend my baby shower with loads of gifts when he arrives Miami with his family . Plus the free rescan.
So i no kukuma get mouth to ask for refund o

lols mama...the only thing remaining was for me & them to fight that day.

The owner of the place came out & was pleading. Said i should come again later, for a free rescan (for wia! i no dey set feet dia again o).
Obviously he knows his sonographer guffs.

I went at 29weeks to see my baby's face. I knew the sex of my baby at about 16weeks or so on a regular 2D scan. You can get baby's sex on a 4D scan as early as 12 weeks sef,....

you see ! You needed to see how the clueless sonographer was arguing & telling me that those people who told me they saw the sex of their baby before 27 weeks a big liars. i was dazed at his ignorance.

Infact at a point,it seemed as though some of the comments were intended to scare pregnant mamas.
i panicked & decided to scroll pass & not read such comments that had lots of negativity.

it's really not fair filling an emotional pregnant womans head with a whole lot of negative information on things that could go wrong. Most already know, but are focused on being positive & optimistic and as such only need little nice words of encouragement to tow the right path at each point.

Mamas here have gone tru Cs & didn't die. its not nice when people cross over to the other side, they now shift the post & now come back to scare others. I know Cs might be hard, but the same God of Hebrew women will continue seeing us all through.

Again every pregnant woman has several worries & anxieties till she delivers and most times ordinary subtle kind counsel & above all positive words of encouragement can calm all these fears.

So pls when a mama voices out her fears, lets try to be humane & compassionate while admonishing rather than being rancorous, contentious, harsh or unpleasant.

That's where I did my 4D scan. Its very clear and you can ask for s video for an additional 1k or so.
Scan was 5k.

ok meaning you haven't used them yet.

i saw one new scan center yesterday that claimed they do 4D. i entered and they collected my money, but i was shocked.
it was pure black & white, images distorted, jumpy & even worse than the usual 2D's ive been doing before.
i couldn't even make out anything from the screen. The sonographer was just fumbling & fidgeting with the whole thing & couldn't make out anything. i was so angry eh;it really pained me. i just wasted my time & money in vain.

He then told me the pregnancy is too early to see any clear image. Imagine!

And that sex can NEVER be detected till at least 27 weeks. Mogbe!!! I lost it at that point. i couldn't hold it again.
ARRANT NONSENSE!

Am sure they'll close down after my episode with them, go back and do their home work well before opening again to swindle people.
