I have always said this.......we should all be careful about how we use the word SCAM.
That word is too delicate to be used flippantly in business/trading circles.

Now to the matter, I have gone to read the previous matter to get a better understanding why Jainine would make such an accusation or a comment against Justi4jesu

You may first want to check out d definition of that word SCAM.
SCAM is to defraud someone, to defraud is to obtain by trick from someone money or information or valuables.

A seller or buyer has the right of refusal.

Jainine, I will agree with you that you may have not been treated fairly in your past transaction with justi4jesu but I will STRONGLY disagree with you with calling Justi. a SCAM.
Your money was refunded to you in full, not a kobo more or less even though you had other suggestions which Justi. declined to act on. She might have had her reasons, no one can know for sure........but calling her a SCAM was way offline and uncalled for.

It is hard to build a name and a brand and it only takes silly comments like yours to bring it down.

And please, to all others who transact biz and do not know what SCAM or the definition of SCAM is, I will advise you all do an extensive research on that word SCAM......cos I will NOT tolerate anyone using that word anyhow.

If you have been SCAMMED or you feel you are being or about to be SCAMMED, before you make that bold accusation, make sure you have exhausted all means of contacting and trying to finish your biz.

In biz, there are always hitches & challenges which maybe beyond our control at that moment.
Different people act differently in respect to challenges they face.

Going down memory lane, there has never been a moment where I didn't witness any complaint in any PfP tournament.

From complaint of odds to voiding of slips, to changing the min stake from 100 to 200, changing dates, groups numbers more or less than another group, time of events, eligibility of participants, inability/ignorance of ppl accessing the bet numbers.......the list just keeps getting endless.

.......and like I said earlier, akraym & troot cannot please everyone and I don't expect them to.

No one was asked not to participate. So far, no one has been suspended from the tournament.

A mere shift in date is causing some peeps to erupt while some others are disputing while will some groups have 6ppl while others have 7.

Imagine the trivialities going on in some minds.

Now, how do you comfortable and equally divide about 207ppl into 32 groups

Shifting of dates should only be done because of a Force Majeure which should be clearly seen and understood by all to have been something so great that the dates should have been shifted.

This is a tournament and not some kids game at home. Things should be as they ought to be.

The organisers are not in anyway obliged to explain anything to you.
You did not pay anything to participate in this competition, neither did any of you sign any contract with the organisers regarding how this competition will hold or be held.

So don't come in here talking about Force Majeure.

Understand the meaning of that word before you start to use it

@Longman posted a slip, he flouted a rule, both entered and you are asking for one to be made void and the other counted.
Sorry, it doesn't work that way.

Now, lemme explain the difference btwn Longmann & donbrowser slips.
The former slip was noticed after all the events had occurred(circa 11.30pm) and the latter, well his was spotted the moment it happenned.(3pm sharpish).

Therefore, Longman entire slip was voided. He should be thankful that there is still a playoff to look forward to.

As for donbrowser, I agree Troot may have made an error asking him to update the slip but he rejected(which is very good and admirable of him) and akraym still calculated the remaining events on his slip as they surpassed the minimum threshold (1.5).

Now as for what rule to apply and when, it is the moderators prerogative. There are two sides of this prerogative, if you do not want to see any one of them, stay within the boundary of the rules.

One thing I have learned is that, whether you do good, are trying to do good or you do bad, ppl will talk.

Well, it will still happen again.
.......and any date you may have seen earlier is tentative. Dates can be shifted, nothing is cast in stone.

I think all these accusations and counter-accusations is getting a better part of the purpose of this thread.
