Tohsynetita1: Starting a business is okay but look into long term business. Look into business that you will not really spend money on power supply. Because power supply is a huge factor wrecking Nigeria businesses. So, examples are farming, land banking. You can buy like 100 acres of land and plant cash crops there. Oil palm, rubber, cocoa, shea butter, coconut, pawpaw, kolanut. Etc. if you do this. In the next 3 years, those crops would have matured. Then you started producing and supplying export companies. This business can last for next 50 years. Thank you. But I am not a fan of Agriculture |

Hamachi: I feel you. You’ve hustled hard, made some serious gains from crypto, and now you’re standing at this crossroads with $100k in your pocket. That’s no small feat — seriously respect that.
It’s totally natural to feel torn between two big moves: leaving for greener pastures or planting your flag at home and building something real. Both paths come with their own kind of risk and reward.
About Japa:
Your worry about ending up doing menial jobs is real and valid. Nobody wants to start all over grinding in roles beneath their skill or ambition. But maybe there’s a middle ground — instead of jumping straight into random jobs, what about aiming for places or visa programs that recognize your skills and experience? Maybe freelancing or remote work in crypto/blockchain could keep you afloat and respected while you settle in. It’s about playing it smart, not just jumping blindly.
About Starting a Business in Nigeria: Not having a clear business idea right now is okay. Most successful businesses start from small, imperfect ideas that grow over time. Maybe you start with something simple, solving everyday problems you see around you — logistics, food delivery, agri-tech, even education or digital finance. Nigeria’s market is huge and hungry for innovation.
You deserve a life where you feel respected, challenged, and rewarded — whether that’s abroad or at home. If you go abroad, aim to go where you can grow into your potential, not just survive. If you stay, start small, test ideas, and remember it’s okay to pivot.
You’ve proven you can grow something valuable. Now it’s about choosing the path that feels right for you — not just the easiest or the most talked-about. Thank you. But it’s not as easy as it seems to go abroad and hustle for jobs in crypto/blockchain as i am just a trader not a developer or someone big(influencer). Asides, menial jobs, processing your visa there is quite pricey( like over $20k needed) and i have read some stories of people that regret this |

I was able to amass over $100k from crypto/web3 (trust me not fraudulently) since 2021 till date, although it could have been more but no one is perfect.
We know crypto crypto/web3 have different trends(uptrend and downtrends), which i believe we are threading towards a downtrend. And i want to diversify some of this funds into something IRL.
Now i am undecided if i should Japa or start a business here in Nigeria with the money. My fear for the japa is that go there and start doing menial jobs that i wouldnt even do in Nigeria. And for the business, i currently don’t have idea of what to start |

Romance › I Need Your Advice, I Can’t Get Over Her Past by pvirus(op): 1:49am On Apr 19, 2024 |
Sometimes last year i met this lady and we started dating a few months. The thing is she honestly summarized her past to me in the early days of the relationships; as i was madly in love, I didn’t bother to ask her for details. Several months later, talks and my personal curiosity led to me knowing the full details of the past, and since then it has been VERY tough for me to digest, been depressed. The past is not that bad, just that she has been in three relationships before me (two of them are with people that i know in real life). The thoughts of her escapades in those relationships have just been disturbing my mind since then. One of her ex is someone we both always see every Sunday and since the revelation of the details, it has been tough for me to process that such person has sampled my woman before. But in general, i love and find happiness in this woman. I kind of see the future with her. I want to be with her but this thought just disturbs me and mess with my head. I recently start seeing her as a leftover of some guys
I need yall advice on this dilemma that i am in. What should i do? |

dasparrow: Some of you are indeed illiterates who lack reading comprehension skills. The article stated that the american was kidnapped in Niger. His kidnappers brought him to the border of Niger and Nigeria. Many credible news sources say that the Niger government in collaboration with the american seals and the Nigerian government were able to rescue the american. So in other words, it was a combined effort. Didn't you were the article said the elite seal team six carried out the operation and moreover he was kidnapped in Niger and brought into northern Nigeria |
