I agree with you. But I seriously have a feeling we all don't understand the new rule. As for me I would still go for my interview earlier and talk to them. They can't expect me to leave earlier than I planned to. No way!!
I hope we all dint understand The rule, although dese UK people could be crazy.

The mony myst be in a bank for a minimum OF 28 DAYS, it can be there for longer with no problem.
As long as the money remains untouched and allways above the amount stated.
It is better to print your statement as close to the intervew as possible.
If there is a long time between printing then anything could have happened to the money, which worries the visa officer.
thanks.

sorry it might be exaggerated but one thing I have noticed about we nigerians is that in a crave to school abroad we don't do proper research I school in ghana and there are so many illegal one block universities there and most of them in this schools are nigerians this guy's pay as much as 500k a session to school in a school not even recognised by the ghanian government. I have followed this thread from the first page and have Googled most of the schools mentioned here and none is highly ranked globally and look at the outrageous fees plus no post work visa. you finish and you come to look for a job like a mad man in Nigeria. there are well highly ranked cheap schools in other countries why can't people research on them. The importance of ranking cannot be overemphasised.
you might be referring to germany nd some other asian countries apart from engineering courses their certificates might not be appealing to students and employers rankings are key yes but because some have decided to school in UK doesn't mean they are wasting money cus its 'expensive' the lecturers in thos cheap schools in other countries might have studied in the UK as well, no one can argue of UK's quality of education and North America as well. Getting jobs is subjective sm1 might have schools in a cheap school and still won't be able to secure a job. That the schools are not ranked high globally doesn't mean they are crap the rankings are Mostly distorted. Your Ghanaian school might not rank high globally too but am sure you would agree that the way you study and what you gain from your study is what matters. You need to check the USA thread to see the schools people are applying to they are way lower than the ones you've been googling here.

Hi guys. Pls the bank account I intend using for my remaining fees is an active one asin my sponsor is always withdrawing and depositing into it. I don't know if this would affect the 28days period for my visa application?

LOL, so I saw too different topics today on this forum trying to talk down the idea of schooling in UK. I hope no one here is discouraged. The onli advantage I see with canda, aussie and yankee is that you have more months to do "menial" jobs especially if your grades are below par. Jobs would not come automatically If you have low grades in those countires. If you make a top grade in UK you've achieved a lot as u have better chances of getting a job in the UK or Nigeria.

This is not funny how do I get back the £6000 deposited to RGU for a masters degree what are the procedures please,I have just noticed they dropped 10 places in the uk rankings I feel duped. embarassed)

Lol, Pweedy B I hope you are joking?

where is your first degree from again, Imperial, Cambridge or Oxford. There are 2 main bodies that rank UK Universities if I can call them that. Times University and Guardian. If you go on to the Guardian, that same RGU goes up the rank by 4. You cannot go by those rankings . That is not to say you should go and attend the bottom 3 Universities on the tables, however if you are aiming for only the best of the best may as well stick with the top 5, they rarely if ever change.

And if you schooled in some Nigerian University, you shouldn't really be casting stones at RGU. FYI,I schooled in Nigeria smiley

Shalom
not joking check this www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/league-tables/rankings/

Write the school to cancel your admission then ask for refund, though you will not get the whole £6000, probably about £5800
thanks.
