There is no need to insult anybody paragon. To be honest I thought I was the only one that noted your inconsistent information.

A lot of people here have genuine info but because efcc is a sensitive organization applicants are afraid of being victimized.

Let's just relax our mind like I said in the past the recruitment up to this stage(exam) has been free and fair to a large extent. Those that passed will all be contacted in less than a month's time.

Forget about those people training cos they don't even care about u after all they are cadet trainees and we are still civilian looking for job.

If you have been following the efcc chairman statements both on electronic and print media along with their twitter handle u will be able to deduce for Urself when DS/DI list will be out. The chairman was clear as to the numbers to be recrutied and The time frame for recruitment.

From all that I have read, I believe DS list will be out within the last week of September and 2nd week of October. Camp will open November. The recruitment will end before December, by then training would have commenced.

The chairman was clear that training school will not be OK for the recruitment as it does not support the type of jungle terrain needed for the Training.

What we should be praying about is to pass that tough exam and the medicals.

The medicals is very essential because this recruitment is for operative which means the military will likely carry out the medical screening as dey did for DA. It will be tough. No room for compromise from what some Air Force doctors told me.

Disregard false news about political hijacking of the list. People really worry a lot. The list will soon be out. This is one of the best recruitment ever.

Its best people just take their mind off this recruitment and apply demselves towards more productive ventures. The list will be out as at when due. The truth is that a lot of good candidates will Be disqualified for one reason or the other. DS can't be more than 6 per state. Over 200 Indigenes of my state wrote the exam. I saw lawyers, doctors, engineers, Etc all battling for the few slots. Only prayers and God's dIvine favor can guarantee success.

The focus of this recruitment is on the lower cadres. So DS guys should not put so much hope on this.

But it's basically the same recruitment procedures na... .fitness test, aptitude test, medicals and interview.

I pray it's nor hair follicle cos some of us take a lot of herbal products( local and Chinese) only God knows the true content of such mixtures

You cannot hold FAAN liable because they did not issue any appointment letter. It is when they issue you appointment letter(offer letter) and you accept by singing the document that a legal contract is created.

Just finished a marathon meeting, unfortunately I have it on authority that the NIS recruitment has been canceled and a presidential committee will be set up to investigate the former minister of interior Abba Morro while a nemo will be released to begin a fresh recruitment. Don't lose hope. Cheers.

Gradually the Appointment letter can be likened to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Nobody knows the day or hour, it will come like a thief in the nite. All the top FAAN staff i contact are saying the same thing I.e the list has been compiled and sent to the ministry, the ministry has taken over, u will soon be called, arrangements are being made for logistics and training etc. One thing is certain, our patience is being tested and our resolve must remain strong. That's is why I am using this opportunity to call upon the babes in the house who have personal contacts to the director, permanent secretary or minister of aviation to prevail upon dis top men in order to hasten the whole process. Even if you know a friend that knows someone that is close to the above cited senior ministry officials please no effort is to small. We are ready to resume training from home, we don't need much logistics. Just give us the AP letters so we can sign as staff of FAAN before Sai Baba resumes office. Let us know our fate so we can move on with our various lives. Justify the saying what a man can do a woman can do better.

Irrespective of the fact some people might believe the Faan recruitment has been canceled the truth remains that the AP will soon be issued after logistics training and accommodation issues has been sorted out, especially for those that applied for fire service because training is a key component of their employment and duties. Aside Faan recruitment the president through his spokeman Ruben Abati has welcomed any probe as a result of last minute activities of his government citing the need for government to continue to function despite the result of the last election. More appointment letters were even issued to some top government staff like Peter Obi(former governor) who was appointed chairman of SEC yesterday. Recruitments are ongoing through out the federation and appointment letters are being issued daily. We just need to be patient and optimistic. I always maintain that the source of worry should not be when the AP are issued rather pray ur name is on that list.

Liar Mohammed is not the president neither is he the president elect, he can make as much noise as he wants. Government is not run by noise making of external forces. His rant cannot affect the Faan recruitment as there are laid down procedures to be followed. Let's hope the ministry gives the directive to issue the AP letters before may 29, coz that's the most important thing. Still awaiting response from a source in the ministry with regards to the AP letters.

I read the article earlier. It appears the Faan recruitment has gone unnoticed by a large section of the public which will play out in our favor, unlike the NIS recruitment. In the end have no fear for the lord is with us. All we need do is double the amount of prayer and increase the length of fasting in order for the list to be published before the hand over date.

750 People is more reasonable n logical than the supposed 3000 that many of us wish for. I also noticed we don't wana hear any thing that dampens our hope even if it were the truth. However I think we shud all expect the worst even tho we hope for the best. 22 from each state is perfect. I believe I will make the cut(in fairness) even if it were 15 per state. Meanwhile this is my first post and expect a good welcome

Your state of posting is attached to the Appointment Letter, once u collect your appointment letter u will know the airpot ur posted. The the salary and allowance is very lucrative especially the allowance. Your status will change in Jesus name.

just my opinion....... I think faan needs more than 750. I work with ncaa so I know how all aviation agencies do their employement. In these places NCAA,FAAN,NAMA,NIMET,NCAT if u get to the interview uhv gotten the job. During our recruitment 300 were called for interview 248 were selected. just my opinion nothing

NCAA is a highly professional agency that's y they pay higher than faan. So its easier to pick 248 out of 300 because most people applying are already qualified and up to the task for the job. There won't be much chaffs among the wheat in the recruitment process. Correct me if am wrong

Thats exactly what I was trying to explain to them. My source is authentic yet people keep on coming with different permutations. The list has been collated and sent to the ministry of aviation. At the moment no Faan staff except a privilege staff has any concrete info. They only need 750 pple for now. In fact am prepared for the worst in as much as I faith and confidence my name is on that list based on my exceptional performance during the interview at Udi (at a point they even told me to stand up as example of a well dressed candidate), I have made alternative arrangement should my expectation be dashed(which will never be the case in Jesus name). Meanwhile @hapiruth if ur dad is a top staff as u proffesed then u have nothing to worry(u should know that by now) coz top ranking staff are entitled to one or 2 slots in every general recruitment for their ward depending on their rank from what I was reliably told.

@citizen juwon and co what you are failing to understand is that all government institutions being a creation of law must comply with the law when it comes to national recruitment the Rules must apply. The agency must advertise in more than one national daily(newspaper) recourse must be giving to the principle of federal character ,the fact that over 720 thousand people applied does not affect the number of people they intend to take. Secondly people keep making reference to the DG statement that Faan is short of 1500 staff..look every agency wants more staff the police will tell u they need one million policemen, even the army with the highest allocation being the government priority did not recruit more than 5000people in a single financial year, ministry of health keeps crying that they want 1doc for every 50people unfortunately there are budget constraints u must put in consideration. It is not today Nigeria has failed to meet international requirement on aviation. After all this is not last recruitment Faan will ever conduct, so they may not meet all the international requirement u have been talking about. In the end humans by their very nature see unfavorable news as very unpalatable let's keep praying and keep ourself informed as there is strength in unity, the minister might be monitoring this thread.
