I shouldn't have brought this up but I am painstakingly seeking the idea to use in coming out of this dilemma of mine. To be frank, she came back on the 8th day of this month which happened to be Friday, before this time we had some discussions which led to her leaving my place angrily and since then no "intimacy" what do I mean? no calls, no text not even flashing! I was on Friday sitting at the veranda of my house, fumbling with my phone, when I looked from afar off and saw a lady coming towards the direction of house. When she drew close, lo and behold she was my girl, we exchanged pleasantries before I took her to my room and then she started her story thus:
I am sorry to have left your room angrily the other day( I just nodded my head), the question was shocking I was not expecting it. Truly I had been pregnant which led to the only abortion I had in the past(she busted into tears, I tried to pet her before she continued).I was 17 when armed robbers came to our house on a fateful day and I was raped, I never knew it would lead to pregnancy until after a month plus that I started noticing some changes which led to me seeing a doctor and it was confirmed that I was pregnant. I had no choice that to abort it(sobbing).
I was dumbfounded, I was looking like someone who just missed a flight. The point is this, I have no problem accepting her back but why did she wait for two weeks before narrating this? Was she taught of what to say? Could this be a cooked up story? Can I ask any of her family members about the incident? These and many more questions left me dumbfounded. Should I go on with the questions or bury the hatchet? I need mature pieces of advice!

Nairapeople: Multi-millionaire blogger, Linda Ikeji is in a battle with the Lagos Inland Revenue Service over an alleged tax evasion and it is authoritative. It was gathered that all attempts to track down the blogger started about a month ago when the agency got information that the blogger has not been remitting necessary taxes to the state government but all attempts by the service were said to have been frustrated. A source informed that at a time she was to be served a notice of tax assessment, her father who was to receive the letter allegedly declined to do so saying she could not receive such a notice on behalf of Linda. On the second occasion, the delivery man was turned back on the excuse that no individual known as Linda Ikeji was resident at the address traced to her business. The agency however got their way last week as she was said to have been served at her new mansion in highbrow Banana Island while the inland revenue equally made a video and photo evidences to support the service. A very reliable source at the tax office informed News of the People that checks conducted on the blogger revealed that she had only paid (N4,000) four thousand naira ever as tax to the state government. At the moment LIRS is said to be requesting for her tax assessment of personal income with a caveat that failure to do so may compel them to proceed to court for a criminal proceedings. A particular issue raised by a source was the withholding tax ought to have been paid to the state government on the 600 million naira property she recently acquired which may amount to about 30 million naira only. It was hinted that if the blogger refuses to respond to the request of the inland revenue, the agency shall be forced to drag her to court to face the music. When the blogger was contacted on the issue by this medium, she neither responded non acknowledged the message sent to her.

stevocracy88: An Accident just occurred along Ifo-Ota road in ogun state involving NYSC batch B corp members who have just finished their orientation exercise and were heading to their various places of Primary Assignment in Abeokuta. Eyewitness report has it that a near face on collision was averted when the coaster bus driver swiftly swerved left to avoid an oncoming speeding Dangote truck. However both vehicles still had contact and damage was done to the coaster bus but the truck driver knowing that he was wrong continued and drove off to the bewilderment of the corp members. The good news however is that no one was injured although some female corp members were visibly shaken from the experience. As at the time of this report the corp members were still stranded. It is still considered a surprise that the driver of the coaster bus escaped with his legs intact.

He is fondly called Pastor Ope and he even left Unad which was later merged with two other institutions to form the "now called" Ekiti State University. He got an appointment in Fuoye shortly after he became a Doctor just few months after the merger. He's not a prof yet for the record.....

dainformant: Nigerian troops on cordon and search operations at the general area of Enike Mosque, Okene town, Kogi State were attacked by some suspected terrorists at about 5.30am Tuesday. The troops responded and 2 of the attackers were killed. In addition, a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) bomb and empty cases of expended ammunition were recovered. Unfortunately, the troops lost a soldier, while another sustained gunshot wounds.

IMMEDIATE past Petroleum Resources Minister, Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke, who is battling with cancer in London and being investigated by UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) for alleged corruption, has asked Nigerians for a special favour. She wants Nigerians to pray for her as she undergoes cancer surgery next week.
Speaking through Oscar Onwudiwe, her family’s lawyer, according to online newspaper, The Cable, Diezani, who denied reports of her arrest, said she was undergoing cancer treatment in the UK and “hopes to come out strong to face all the allegations.”
In a statement, Onwudiwe said: “The Madueke family, like most other families, has its own challenges. For instance, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke has been receiving treatment for cancer in the UK which started while she was in office. She completed months of chemotherapy just last week and she is scheduled to undergo surgery next week in London.
The family has been bearing this challenge with prayers and as much grace and fortitude as possible; and would plead with all reasonable Nigerians to pray for her recovery so that she can face these allegations and give account of her stewardship.”
The call for prayers came after an earlier statement released on Thursday in which the family revealed the state of the former minister. Onwudiwe had made the following statement:
“The stories are false but it(sic) feeds the mood of the moment; hence, the silence from Diezani all along. It is worth emphasising that Mrs Alison-Madueke was never arrested or detained and her passport was never seized.
She was merely invited, and she honoured it promptly. But there is a limit to how much any reasonable person can bear the tactics of these … We all know that what makes a lie fly is the little truth contained therein.
This happens to be the weapon used to defame highly-placed people.” Onwudiwe also accused the Nigerian media of reporting “laughable claims” of a purchase of an apartment in Hyde Park with an “amount which embarrassingly ranges from £12.5 million sterling to £13 billion sterling (N3.9tr).
“This claim is utterly false and laughable, for the amounts mentioned are only in the imagination of the reporters. This property is quite popular. It belongs to a well-known eminently successful Nigerian entrepreneur who would also find this allegation embarrassing as the intention to sell the property has neither been contemplated nor disclosed to any person.”
Mixed reaction greets Diezani’s prayer request
Diezani’s request elicited mixed reactions from some Nigerians. While some said they would not pray, others said they would pray for the speedy recovery of the former minister to enable her face her graft trial.

Second Republic Politician, Chief Guy Ikokwu, who has always called for the restructuring of the country and adoption of the parliamentary system of government to check corruption, urged Nigerians to pray for the former oil minister.
‘’We will pray for her and all other Nigerians, both those who are ill and well so that God bestows His mercy on all for the right things to be done in the nation. Nigeria needs God’s mercy. God knows those who are guilty and those who are not guilty,’’ he said.

Former Presidential Candidate, Mrs Sarah Jubril said apart from quick recovery it is also good for Diezani to ask for God’s forgiveness if she is guilty of the graft allegations.
Her words: ‘’Thank God she believes Nigerians have a forgiving heart. We will pray she recovers and ask God for forgiveness if the allegations against her are true. Thank God she is alive. I wish her quick recovery. It is good she has the humility to ask Nigerians for their prayers. We hope to see her in good health soon.’’

However, former Minister of State for Education, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, disagreed and urged Nigerians not to pray for her. ‘’How can we pray for her when she put Nigeria into bankruptcy? Let her go and ask forgiveness from God.
