Politics / Re: Group Explains Mm’s Open-door Policy For The Poor by qsbashirakanbi: 11:00pm On Jan 06, 2017
This is an apt response for the fools who are engaged to reign onslaught to the person of the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki. If there grandfathers can't be benevolent to people, does that ask them to discourage the man doing it. MM don't be demoralized sir. Just continue your good gestures to the poor.

The anti-Saraki at it again. This propaganda definitely is not capable of winning you guys a polling unit in Kwara. It was one of Saraki's aides called MM who gave thousands of widows and widowers food and money not the Senate President Saraki. Instead of you people to also join in providing succour to the people, you are here concocting nonsense. Millions of you guys can't bring our Senate President down. #IstandBySaraki always.

New Year: Hon. Mashood Mustapha Hosts Widows and Widowers, Gives Food and Cash Gifts

In the spirit of new year and usual philanthropic dexterity, the Special Adviser to Senate President Bukola Saraki on Intra-Parliamentary Relation, Protocol Matters and Special Duties, Hon. Mashood Mustapha popularly called MM hosted about five thousand widows and widowers in his Ilorin residence today and dolled out food stuffs and money to each of them.

It is a general axiom, among the political class, in Ilorin and Kwara by extension that Hon. MM derives happiness in putting smiles in the faces of the downtrodden, especially the aged, widows and widowers. This is, without doubt, one of his hobbies which has spanned decades, even before venturing into politics proper in 2003. He however, evidently accomplished the synonymous acts severally, especially during Ramadan period, Sallah days and other festive periods, at his former resident along Sulu Gambari road and the present, Abdulrasak road, both in GRA Ilorin, while he was representing Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency at House of Representatives, Abuja.

The beneficiaries, while collecting the gifts, prayed vehemently for the leader of All Progressive Congress in Kwara State and North Central Region, Sen. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and their benefactor, Hon. MM. It was indeed a hitch-free and orderly exercise as the beneficiaries departed the place peacefully and happily.
Politics / Re: If President Buhari Is Able To Claim As Part Of His Anti-corruption by qsbashirakanbi: 11:10am On Oct 21, 2015
babanett:
If president Buhari is able to claim as part of his anti-corruption credentials that he allowed the prosecution of some one high up the food chain as the Senate President, that would be good for him. But it is equally good for him to be able to claim that he ensured that Justice is done and seen by all to have been done.  After all, by swearing to defend the constitution, he was swearing to protect the rights of all citizens as guaranteed by the constitution. If we contend that no citizen should be above the law no matter his status,  we must also insist that no citizen should be treated beneath the minimum standards set by the laws for equity and justice no matter their status.  If President Buhari intervened in the flagrant judicial lynching of Dr. Saraki,  he would neither be meddling nor doing anyone a favour;  he would simply be doing his job.
