Is good to start with 35 - 40pieces quail birds, 34females and 6males their daily lay eggs will be 30pieces + that is 1crate per day =#1000daily.
U get the 40pieces at rate of #500 per 1, quail bird feeding and farming expenses is so less than other poutry farming business with lesser stress, no need high treatment and monitoring like fowls, they eat normal fowl farming feed and drink water what quail bird like much is free air breach and make their environment clean to make them lay eggs regularly.

No amount you use to start quail bird business you gain it back in less than 2months cos is a blessed bird many buyer book than for their eggs cos demanded higher than suppiers.

you need to get work permit before you r eligible to work in SA....you can also work with study permit but with limited hours per week.. around 21hr/week
