I'm sorry but i have to disagree with you, you can't say people are ridiculous because they say "nollywood is crap"
because it is that persons personal opinion and as far as i know there is "free speech" to express themselves in anyway as long as they do not harm anybody in the process
Secondly i don't hate Nollywood but i have my own views on nollywood, i think yes! they have improved but they cannot compare themselves to HOLLYWOOD in anyway!! I patronise my country in everyway i can i support the actors and actresses ive come accross and i also let them know my views and my opinions and none of them have taken it up with me!! After all my blood cousin is a Write/ Director and Producer in Nolywood and i told her recently " I believe in Growth and i know nollywood will grow but before they can compare themselves to HOLLWOOD drastic changes have to be made!!

What are the changes??

1. They have to come up with different names to movies no more "endagered love" or Could this be love?
2. They have to diversify don't let the storylines be similar e.g the typical " prostitute scenarios" they should be able to be more creative
2. They should get liscense to shoot abroad instead of using camorders and not even talking while they are showing the scenes of the supposed London or America
3. Also please don't shoot scenes in hotels saying thats america!!
4. The base pay in nigeria for actors and actresses is nt 1/4 of what they get in hollywood so boom goes the statement "nollywood is like hollywood'!!


I'm just expressing my self, feel free to disagree or agree tis a free country!!
