''Visa application, tracking ID No. has been received at the Thu Feb 08 2024 VAC on date and is on transit to the IRCC Office in Abuja OC ,for processing.''

I got this mail from VFS Abuja yesterday and no mail today. Chatted the live agent and he informed me that my passport is with embassy.

What does it mean? Why didn't they mail me today?
Is Abuja consulate operating now?
