madridguy:I agree with this. Maybe religious people should take this advice to heart. Not true. Christianity is a religion with a book. A book you must mature enough to read and grow to understand, which makes the book a tool to exercise your brain on so you know how to use it better. If you actually took the time to read that stupid ancient book and examined it with a critical mind, you would most likely be an atheist if not, then a deist or agnostic. The bible is full of fantasy stories that it claims happened yet has no evidence to back any of it up. All of the fiction in that stupid book was ripped off from other religious beliefs that predated it like the Noah flood from the Epic of Gilgamesh or the Jesus story written 300 years later being an exact copy of the Horus journey from the ancient Egyptian beliefs from 2200 BCE. Funny thing, Jesus doesn't even exist! There is no archaeological record in Italian/Roman history of a man named Jesus Christ in their execution list and the Romans recorded every execution they carried out. Creation myth, Earth being 6,000 years old, and being center of the universe is debunked by the Bang Big theory as well as Evolution. There is no logical reason to believe in Christianity or Islam. Nevermind that your "all-loving" god endorses slavery, rape, homophobia, misogyny, genocide, incest, pedophilia, and filicide and is a very insecure being who demands human worship every seven days or else your going to hell. Even if Satan did exist, he sounds like a pretty cool dude. Gave humanity freedom by making them aquire knowledge of good and evil and attain free will while Christian god sounding more like a fascist dictator wanting control every aspect of your life. |
Richwallet:1) I never said Jesus was imaginary. The bible version of him is though. He was a middle eastern, brown jew. His story was written about 300 years after his death and his story is not original either as its an exact copy of other stories like Horus from the ancient Egyptian beliefs. 2) I dont care about your crazy tinfoil hat conspiracy theories bro. I'm done here, good day.

Richwallet:Sodomy and buggery are a bunch of colonial laws the British bought in my country of Nigeria because they were a bunch of homophobic, bible thumping assholes back then. African governments use homosexuality as an excuse to divert focus away from more serious national crises aka their own fuckups. You seriously think I dont know how their game works? Look at Tunisia and what they scapegoating of migrants to divert attention from political and economic crisis. its very obvious. Also, I dont know any African native beliefs that worship demons and demons are nothing more than imaginary creatures so I dont care. |
Ignoring the "We Wuz Kangz" argument about the moors, homosexuality in Africa was generally more accepted before the whito missionaries came and told our ancestors that being gay was an abomination unto their imaginary god and that we were primitive savages for practicing our native beliefs. Whats more funny is that there is more people practicing the Yoruba (the tribe I and my family descend from) beliefs in Brazil and the Caribbean than there is in Nigeria, Yoruba region itself, lol. There are even statues of the Orisha's in Brazil. Post-colonial Africans are such betacucks, they gave up apart of their values and culture for a foreign one hence Nigeria has a white jesus statue and Kenya danced to some white guy cosplaying as Jesus Christ. Honestly, you lot are an insult to our ancestors and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Just30:I very much disagree with your view but you do you. |
gallivant:Homosexuality has been illegal in our country (Ghana) since the British colonists took over but It has never been enforced because it was nearly impossible to prove two men were having buttsemx in the bedroom. But, that doesn't mean our current government, NPP, isn't making a bill that will jail them for 10 years and anyone that dares try to advocate for them. Also 😏😏😏 https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/mar/21/ugandan-mps-pass-bill-imposing-death-penalty-homosexuality Dont know if you heard of it but GhanaWeb few years back had an article of a grown adult who was unsurprisingly, Christian, raped a lesbian minor before handing her over to the police. Got away with rape and pedophila and law turned the other cheek since, you know. |
Just30:Except if your gay, then you go to prison for 10 years. |
rvp20182:https://www.globalhungerindex.org/ghana.html Been trending downwards when it comes to hunger. https://destinationscanner.com/average-salary-in-ghana/ How much the average, well-qualified Ghanaian in both the formal and informal sector earn on a yearly basis (including monthly in the informal sector). |
Mkenya2019:Talking about the data, its vague and says absolutely nothing because most Ghanaians make $250-$400 on average but reports of Ghanaians making $15,000 has been reported. |
Mkenya2019:The chart you posted is really vague. Honestly, $30?! You think most Ghanaians are toilet cleaners or something like India? Oh, nevermind. India doesn't have any toilets hence why they shit and piss in the Ganges river they bathe themselves in. |
Kazikazi:It just goes to show that Kenyans are no different than the Nigerian populous. Wild thieving savages in a lawless land. I dont think I have ever seen Ghanaians (at least in many years) to literally go out of their way to destroy or loot people property during riots. Instead, we protested against the government by closing all our stores down in a 3-day protest over the soaring costs of living. |
Mkenya2019:Well, you got to give Tanzanians some credit for standing up to their government. The Maasai actually fought back when their president tried selling off their ancestral land to some Arabian king and his family to enjoy the sick, psychopathic sport of hunting and shooting our already endangered lions species. |
Similarities between Ghana and Sri Lanka. Both are bankrupt. Both tried cutting taxes but never cut spending. Both are defaulters in huge debt to private western owned loans. Both gave huge promises to the people. Corruption is worse in both. Difference between the two countries? Sri Lankans rose up and chased their fraud of a president out of the country while Ghanaians dont care and didn't rise up against the NPP at all. Hell, even North Sudan rose up and overthrew their dictator and forced their military dictator to stepdown after the price of bread rose in the country and installed a civilian democracy. |
Of course, two of them were Nigerians and one was shamefully Ghanaian. |
Nigerian politics aside. What are the chances of Ghana losing a lot of its aid if it passes its anti-LGBT bill thats been on the backburner for quite a few years now? I highly doubt they would be economically sanctioned as thats going alittle too far. |

EDUECO:Its the Nigerian way. When Tinubu is declared the winner, everyone that voted for the APC deserves everything bad thats coming to them. Expect higher insecurity, more looting, increase in extreme multi-dimensional poverty (already at 133 million more than 60% of Nigeria population), and much more. |
LP hopefuls should remain calm and gather enough evidence to seek redress at the courts. The fact that Labour Party is not appearing in some polling stations, thugs threatening voters not to vote for Labour Party and only APC and destroying some polling units, massive corruption in INEC allowing children to vote in the Northern states for APC, dont expect the Nigerian courts to do shit because they are infamously corrupt as well. Its why I laugh at the country thinking its better than Ghana because the only thing it excels in is nominal GDP. Last time someone tried to steal voting ballots, they were shot dead in the 2020 elections by the police. I feel really sorry for the Obi supporters. |
Elections already being rigged, go figure. |
vankelvin:Even then, when it comes to air pollution, the yellow chinks are the worst followed by India. https://www.aqi.in/blog/top10-most-polluted-cities-in-the-world/ |

Bonesbreaker:I never denied Ghana didn't have bad leadership because it does. Our m0ron of a president is literally wasting our tax money on building himself a catheral which plenty of Ghanaians have voiced their anger out on. Nigeria has terrible leadership too hence why I'm rooting for Obi Peter to change things around in your country but people really need to call out a spade instead of acting delusional like ProblemChild. |
ProblemChild1:You lot are like a broken record repeating the same shit. I'm almost convinced you are someone elses alt account. I dont know any Ghanaian who looks up to Nigerians because it was repeated over a million times already, Nigeria fails in almost every category that your nation can be considered a failed state. Maybe besides your music entertainment industry then you would actually have a point there. Also, no Ghanaian is trying to cross the Med sea, 21% of the 171,299 immigrants that tried to cross the Mediterranean sea in 2016 were Nigerian among North Africans, Arabs etc. Give me any statistic and I bet you Ghana comes out on top over Nigeria. https://guardian.ng/news/36000-nigerians-crossed-to-italy-via-mediterranean-sea-in-2016/ |
Bonesbreaker:Pretty sure places like America gets their talent through people who legally emigrate to their host country and contribute to their society sharing their expertise in an evironment they excel in, not by some low skilled, economic refugees escaping their harsh economic conditions only to be a strain on the host nation system and leech off government benefits while committing crime in the proccess. Only then to be jailed and be a strain on the taxpayer. |
Bonesbreaker:I wouldn't really describe economic refugees as "explorers". |
ProblemChild1:I wasn't expecting much of a credible response so I wasn't disappointed. Let me ask you this. If Nigeria is so great, why are so many of you trying to get to Europe either through the Med sea only to end up dead washing up on Libya shores or trying to siege the Moroccan and Spanish border? I'm just so curious since so many Nigerians like to boast about their country here 24/7 while talking shit on other African nations. |
theenchanter:When I said "we" I was referring to Ghana being in 133rd place worldwide thus we "GHANAIANS" do better not Nigeria for god sake man READ before commenting! Also, if Ghana is a village thats more developed than the "giant" of Africa, then what does that make Nigeria? A hamlet? You have more shiny highrise buildings than we do, congratulations, yet your nation lacks behind in almost every category that would certify Nigeria as a failed state that cant even provide basic government services like 24/7 electricity hence why Nigeria still use generators. Last time I checked, Nigeria literally had billboards advising their citizens not to use the rivers as a shitter. Sounds like to me that Nigeria is the one with the village mentality and not Ghana. No wonder Nigeria doesn't get better when its filled with delusional people that can only boast about their high nominal GDP because everything else is complete shit in the country. |
Shma2023:I dont think you should be talking much dude. Yes, Nairobi inner city looks lovely but 60% of Nairobi 5 million inhabitants live in the 110 slums that surround the capital which 26% of children work in inhumane conditions. Nairobi holds the largest and poorest slums in the world. https://aliceforchildren.it/en/slums-nairobi/ |
Technically, Just30 is right. According to HDI, Ghana is more developed than Kenya and Nigeria and ranks 7th in Africa and 133rd worldwide (which we should strive to do better in that position). Ghana - 0.632 Kenya - 0.575 Nigeria - 0.535 https://www.ghstandard.com/ghana-ranked-7th-in-africa-in-new-undps-2022-human-development-index/45104/ If you wanna back up your claims of calling Ghana a "village" then I suggest you back up your claims with links otherwise you end up looking like idiots. |
Just30:Are you being serious? If you have actually been keeping up to date with the illegal mining of our gold in the country, the operations were always done by these stinking buck toothed rats with like maybe 2 or 3 Ghanaian accomplices destroying our environment and rivers and limiting our water supplies. Its not the only reason why I called them uncivilized as read below. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-63720181 Hell, the monkeys in Chinkdom staged a protest after we shot one of their boys trying to make a run for it with our gold. Fucker got what he deserved so dont pin the blame all on Ghanaians. You can blame the 29 corrupt ministers Mahama did nothing about for letting Queen of Galamsey go multiple times but not the ordinary and civilized people of the country. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-19946787 These acts contribute to our murder rate and I bet if you removed them, you would see a decrease. Luckily, the chinks have been decreasing in Ghana. There was nearly 5,000 of them in 2017 alone but now less than 2,500 (2,301) and hopefully even less in 2022 data. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1321403/number-of-chinese-workers-in-ghana/ |
vankelvin:South Africa has a murder rate of 35.8 per 100,000, its insanely high and Nigeria is not far behind with a murder rate of 34.52 per 100,000. Compared to Ghana 2.09 per 100,000 or Kenya 4.93 per 100,000. You can't pay me anything to live or visit either country. |
68816419:You do know Jumia isn't completely African or rather Nigerian in origin, right? Despite its claim being a pan-African retailer store, it was founded by two white guys or more specifically a French man and a Canadian French man and the current CEOs of the company. Tunde Kehinde and Raphael Kofi Afaedor are just the Co-founders. It would of been better to post Konga thats completely Nigerian owned by Nnamdi Ekeh and a major direct competitor of Jumia. |
