What is Amazon KDP?

Maybe you've been hearing about Amazon KDP and how people publish books without writing; but you don't understand how it happens or what they mean.

AMAZON KDP (fully, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing) is a self-publishing platform owned by World’s richest man Jeff Bezos. It is part of his E-commerce Company, Amazon.

Now, It is called Self-publishing because – unlike normal publishing – it is done by the Authors themselves FOR FREE.

Yes, you don’t have to pay Amazon to publish your book either as eBook or paperback, even hardcover. All you do is Upload your book, set price, and Amazon displays your book to its Millions of audience.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO START?
What you need to thrive on Amazon are 3 things:

(1) You get paid in dollars for creating QUALITY documents on Amazon

The emphasis is on quality, many Nigerians know this already.
But most of them are struggling because they don’t know or understand what it is about.

What this means is this...

(4) The entire amazon KDP system is based around what is called niches, keywords; basically, a mastery of SEO

The most important part of the whole process is in the creation and only quality content has better chance at success.

How do you write quality content? How do you know quality content?

It is in honing your KDP niche and keyword research skills.
HOW?

The KDP business is a 3-step process i.e., Research, Create, and Upload.

- Research: You have to create what people are interested and want to read. Researching involves you finding out about your audience, what do they want, the keywords you need to use and how to deliver.

- Create: This involves writing your book or designing your coloring book and putting in what you have gained from your research

- Upload

If you master all these three aspects of the KDP business, 80% of your job is done.

Many people don't know this and that is why they keep throwing money at non-converting adverts and wasting their money
With what I have now learnt, I believe there is no need to waste your money on any marketing and advertising with this organic failproof strategy.

Just go to YouTube and search what you want to learn about, it'll bring out different videos. It also depends on what you want to go into, is it full stack, frontend, backend, data analysis etc.

There are lots of ways to go about learning it though.

2022 ASUU STRIKE UPDATE

As the May 14th deadline draws closer, tension is rising all the more within the public university sector. In the past few days, there have been dramatic developments across several student unions e.g. in UNIBEN, UI, many others and even NANS.

The president has been and still is silent over this strike since it began while the Minister of Labor is busy haggling for Presidency. ASUU however cries out that Vice President Osinbanjo should take over the negotiations as they have lost faith in the ministers.

When two elephants fight, the grasses will suffer and it is evident that we students are the grasses in this situation. Our time and energy is being wasted away by idleness... even our resources too, rent money is burning as we speak.

What is worse is that when the tertiary education is completed, there are little jobs to accommodate the influx into the labor market and many of these jobs have terrible working conditions with delayed and cut salaries.

As a student, now that you have more time, take your time to:

You're definitely up to date about how dollar to naira exchange rate affects prices so why not earn in dollars?

2. Start Affiliate Marketing
This is a very versatile way to earn money online, it does not need any special skills or certification to get started.

3. Build An Ecommerce Business

4. Take Up Programming Or Web Design

5. Learn high ticket skills like copywriting

And you might as well say goodbye to poverty forever.

I've been in your shoes before...

From experience, the best way is to invest in yourself... Notice I said 'invest in' not 'spend on', you're your surest bet.

The thing about investing in yourself is that you get your investment back in high percentages.

Let me paint a scenario so you get me, you have idle funds of 50k and you decide to learn a high-ticket skill with it, high-ticket skill o e.g. Copywriting and your first client pays you $1000 (about 700k), just calculate your return on investment... You'll see it's more than 100% sef
