Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Deputy National Chairman, Chief Olabode George has admonished the embattled leader of the party, Sen Ali Modu Sheriff to desist from “political lunacy and rascality,” stressing that his tenure was over.
Reacting to the impasse allegedly created by Sheriff within the party by cancelling the already conducted gubernatorial election in Edo State, George while speaking with newsmen yesterday in Lagos warned the embattled leader to walk away from the party, saying his tenure as the party Chairman was over.
Urging Sheriff to accept his faith, the former Deputy National Chairman alleged that the embattled leader went to the party’s national convention in Port-Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, as a national chairmanship aspirant seeking re-election and not as the party’s chairman.
George claimed the former Borno State Governor after picking the nomination form, appeared before the pre-convention screening panel for clearance.
He said, “Sheriff is an ex-PDP Acting Chairman. He should go home. He is barely two years old in the party and he does not know the party culture. He ceased to be the chairman at the convention. He was a chairmanship aspirant, who took the nomination form and appeared before the screening committee. You can’t be the midwife and the new born baby. The tenure of the NWC has ended.”
The former Ondo State military governor maintained that the Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee was legal.
“There was a directive that there should be no election into the offices of the chairman, secretary and auditor. The convention is empowered to set up the caretaker committee. It was constitutionally set up and it has the right to organise a new convention.”
He, however, frowned at the party for not invoking the provision of the party’s constitution that forbids members from constituting legal actions against the party when the crises could be resolved internally.
“Those who took the party to court should have been fired. Sheriff cannot lead the party again. We will have new mangers,” he said.

The city of calaba is very neat and clean dat d extend dat if an insane person sees a dirt, he/she recognises dat it's dirt..

I have personally seen mad people picking sachet water nylon, used containers ,rags and all other forms of dirt and trashing dem..

I was amazed at the first sight and I wondered if these people are actually insane; I later realized dat it's actually a CULTURE

Don't think there will be any direct effect. apart from psychological effect! Cos I'm about 28 now and no sex since the last play I play when I was 14 . But because I'm not sure of my capability now sex don't freak me anymore! Maybe dat will change wen d time come!

Few factors come in to play but because of the demand and supply curve there is more demand for doctor and the amount of doctor produced nation wide is not up to 3000 a years they also spend more time in skool and the job some time could be round the clock.

I am very sorry I brought the topic to this section; please this requires urgent responses from enlightened people.

Please enlightened people, my friend is 31 years now, and he has never had sex in his life. He has always told me dat he desires to remain a virgin until he has married his wife,dat by doing dat, his wife will be proud of him. He has always tried as much as he can to control his urge for sex upto dis age.
but recently, he has become so worried if dis could have any adverse health effect on him because somtimes his bodies feels sick dat drugs could not cure..
please he needs responses as regards dis.

there is this hatred for medicine student and doctors that sometimes i usually wonder wat i did wrong by studying medicine.A pharmacy friend of mind once said that he will become the minister of health just to frustrates doctors. God will help Nigerian Doctors.
Lets leave all this competition, if they are paying doctors higher try to fight for your own and stop comparing to theirs because Doctors will always be respected till d end of time

correction: the above mentioned courses are all five years.

plus internship and law school=6yeqrs

Medicine and surgery 6years plus housemanship= 7years

Corper doctors 50k (No wonder every science student wants to study med surge)
Pharmacists 25k (When d above fail, they resort to pharmacy or optometry)
Nurses/Medical Technicians 15k
Social sciences/Humanities 5k ( ) Chai!!

Even the doctors are complaining about the poor pay during service, you're here talking. Most doctors would rather not go for nysc.
Can't forget what an 'Engineering corper said to me when we were receiving our N19,800 after the 3wks orientation: He said if it was possible he would repeat nysc year because of that money, and I was like, wow, when I'm grumbling about it self!
But to answer your question, apart from the fact that they have well overpaid their dues for it in medical school, even in nysc camp the doctors are working in the camp clinic while others are out there having fun. Some even take deliveries and do minor operations for no extra pay. After camp they work as full time doctors while receiving a corper's pay

It's not just that.They are doctors and earn their pay as doctors.There's a minimum income doctors earn in whatever capacity.

but why are lawyers ,pharmacists, med lab scientists who spent 6years , even Engineers who spent 5 years with tedious work are not paid like dat?

Some times I wonder why the disparities..
I have observed that in most of the states, medical doctors are paid much more than. other people in other professions.. (NYSC)
