Don't worry. Just keep calm. Use the olive oil once a week or every 2weeks, don't put too much pressure on yourself to clean. Just clean like you are gently wiping a surface.

Okay...will do that. Thanks

I have noticed that local flights don't take off from JFK in New York. Flights can either be gotten from Laguadia or Newark. If that's the case, how do I shuttle arriving in JFK and catching a flight to Houston?

I am also trying to use wakanow to book one way from Lagos to JFK and one way return from Houston to Lagos. Do you envisage any challenges with at the Point of Entry when I present tickets from 2 different airlines and 2 different locations?

I will suggest you call the airline directly or visit their office. They r usually able to help with that. Flew delta to atlanta in December and left via Chicago tho bck to Atlanta to connect to my finial destination.

I see a new trend. A lotta new posters introduce thmselves. Tell us they have been reading...Then ask for affordaable hospitals. Some want it emailed to them sef.
Please that is not how this thread works. You the pregnant mama, the one with a vested interest are the one that does the heavy lifting. Luckily for you, it has been made easier. All you have to do is read. People have posted the hospitals they used. That was their idea of affordable. Read. Pick. Choose. You can now narrow down your options and ask the older moms their experiences.
People here are pregnant, some have jobs, some are using bow and arrow to hook pta and doing midnight for cheap flight. Is it fair for them to do your own research for u too?

Lol...you have no chills at all

I shall carry one laptop and two tablets (all fully charged). That's self-made Tv abeg. To get to America in 11hours without stop overs no be beans o, mba I have been watching tv all my life. I also hear they delay before taking off here, so anyone trying Arik should expect about 2hrs delay.

That's the best abeg...you might not even watch it and sleep all the way due to the stress of delay in taking over. When are you living? Going to Houston in July.

She would not have missed her period yet, or even suspect preg.

Most women find out dey r preg around 6 weeks, which may be around the time she travelled

After an IVF cycle in October, got pregnant naturally in Dec, didn't find out until end of Jan even though I was preparing for another round of IVF for February and I did take pregnancy test on Dec 15 to be precise. So I agree with you it does take a while to know for some people.

Dec-Aug is 9month leaving for the US in July. Didn't just state that. You could have just asked undecided

1. Notification of intent is not a must. Its by choice. Folks send it however to show good conscience and have a smoother poe experience.
2. U can send at anytime u want. The issue is just send it. You get a response within 3 days max. You do not need to attach anything. Proof of payment is at poe
3. If you have paid, take aloing EVERY proof of payment. Its also good to have cash at hand (read back. Sometimes some overdo cbps fly off the handle when They don't see cash) The most

important thing is to establish you can pay and that means carrying verifiable evidence to poe. Could be cash. Could be proof of payment. Cards and statements fly but its more tedious to establish proof.
4. The amount of cash you carry is dependent on your expected expense. Do a personal budget sheet. Check the total expected total you will spend for everything. And plan accordingly.
5. As you have seen, you need to pay for an infant for international travel. Check your airline website for policy on travelling with an infant.[/quote

Thank you so much.

Hello everyone,
I am new on here and just have a few questions. Got my visa in Nov wasn't asked any pregnancy question (I wasn't at that point) traveled Dec got back Jan. Want to go for delivery in July, I have read on here that I have to write a Notification of intent letter to the embassy. Can I write the letter now? Or it's still early? How long does it take for the embassy to respond? Do I need to attach all receipt of payment made with the letter?
I have been making payment to Dr and hospital. Will I still need to carry cash? And how much should I be looking at? Going to Houston and everything about the POE is making me nervous so I am trying to prepare and get all detailed information needed.
I have also bought my ticket and read here you need a return ticket for the baby? Why? I thought for infants it was free.

Is the $250-$280 inclusive of shipping fee to and fro?
For the person that asked why people use agent for visa is mainly because they don't have enough time for example, I had just one week to process the visa, so I didn't want to take chances so I didn't think twice about using agent.

And again, someone complained of her application being abandoned after submission even after paying for expedited.
And again, the difference in price is not really so much. If it were to be up to $300 difference grin, I trust mamas here cos they
Must dig out ways to go about it.
