NFF are the ones that sack Rhor. NFF are the ones that refuse to increase Paseiro Salary after leading us to AFCON final. NFF are the ones that are always quick to appoint Eguavoen who are have failed multiple times. Eberechi Eze has trained with the super eagles when Rhor was coach. After Rhor sack they say bye bye to him.
The NFF are not doing much inviting quality foreign based players that show promises because they prefer local content that are amateurish.
Why NFF are so much in love with local coaches when our players are not playing in the local league is what I don’t understand.

Don't just stop the blame at NFF.
Why has NFF been poor in managing football?
Why is our local league so poor that no clubside has won any African competition in recent years?

This is the root cause: The system in Nigeria favours Nepotism, Tribalism & Religious sentiments ahead Meritocracy & Excellence.
The best & most competent hands are never the ones in charge.

Our poor performance in football is only a reflection of the poor & deteriorating state of most sectors in the country.

Even if you decide to change the entire NFF, the system will still not allow the best & most competent hands to emerge.
Same system that brought in the current set of mediocres will still bring in another set of mediocres.

Their poor performance is a general reflection of how every sector is deteriorating in the country.

Patriotism, National Pride & fighting spirit is low. At the back of their minds, "Nigeria is not worth dying for".
So the players are simply not giving their 100% best.
Their allegiance is far more to their various clubs than to Nigeria.

Americans in general are passionate about their Country. They believe in their country.

In Nigeria, people believe in Nigeria only when their tribeman is the president or when they are feeding fat from the Government of the day.

Successive governments in Nigeria have always been worse than their predecessors.
The only way to reverse this trend is to do something drastic & different from status quo.

We can't continue repeating same thing & expect a different result.

Unfortunately, Tribalism & Religious sentiments will not allow us to do the needful.

I still regard this coastal highway as a white elephant project, that should not be priority in Nigeria.

There are over 30 bridges, while driving through the existing East-West road section of Delta State to Rivers state.

You can then imagine the immense number +cost of bridges needed for a parallel Coastal Road version that will be closer to the Atlantic coast.

Hope they are not counting dialects as languages.

We need a single National Language as obtainable in most European countries. Maybe WaZoBia will suffice.

An online poll has nothing to do with ranting or making noise online. It simply reflects a candidate's popularity among Netizens.
And we all know that Netizens are majorly the educated & literate class in Society.
That a candidate is popular among the educated class speaks volumes.

On the other hand, online polls not reflecting in reality could also be due to manipulation of the electoral process.

Anyway, best Govt can do for the nation is to ensure free & fair elections.

On the other thread, FIRS announced they can now monitor all financial transactions real-time. A similar implementation in the electoral process will go a long way in ensuring credible elections.

You've probably never held any leadership position so I don't expect you to understand reward and incentive systems. When a county sends a private jet to rescue just one citizen in a crisis situation, it's done to make a statement on national pride and to spur motivation in citizens.

The ripple effect will be felt everywhere, all shouting about soldiers have forgotten we have a remembrance day dedicated to them for this same reason. There is no day for ordinary citizens , enough said.

So how does this cash gift motivate Soldiers, Lectures, health workers, etc to put in their best towards nation building?

Wearing the green & white colours alone is enough motivation to serve your country if there is patriotism.

Quit the tantrums & look at it from a broader perspective of Nation Building.

If there was such reward system in those sectors, Nigeria would be a stronger nation.
Brain drain & Japa syndrome would be at minimum.
Our soldiers in Sambisa, Police at check points, university Graduates, striking Lecturers & hospital staff are all ill-motivated.

Ideally, wearing the Green & white jersey for your country is enough motivation & reward. But then patriotism is almost zero. People play because of cash gifts.

All these are absurdities and amount to misplaced priorities.
