An Attack on Boko Haram is an Attack on the North. The only solution to this Bandits/ Bóko Hárám insecurity is to divide this Nigeria into at least 2 countries. Let the apólógists of Bóko Hárám and those that align with them stay together. |
This Present Generation will never believe this once happened in Nigeria.

Aba should rightly attain the status of THE JAPAN OF AFRICA. But some haters don't want that to happen. Nevertheless, it's just a matter of time before it will happen ![]() |
Same way we'll have peace one way or the other, in this forced Geographical Contraption of Ethnic Nationalities called Nigeria. ...but let only Ethnic Nationalities that are willing to coexist & work together in Nation Building remain together, especially those that want to coexist with apólógists of Bóko Hárám & Bándíts. |
Igbos always excel and shine where merit is observed. 👍💪 |
Please spell words correctly when you post, and try to use perfect grammar and punctuation. |
LeoThaGreat:You probably wouldn't be saying this if the wealth of Nigeria is coming from your region, and used to develop other regions, While your region is left abandoned and impoverished and your main source of livelihood is messed up from oil pollution. You need to take a visit to the Niger Delta so you understand better. |
These people wan use plenty talk confuse us. The only time I'll agree that Tinubu is on the right track is when all these bogus statistics translate to reduced prices of goods & services and increased purchasing power of the average Nigerian. |
'An Attack on ~~Buhari Over half of Nigeria's problems would be solved if we divide this forced Geographical Contraption called Nigeria, let the apólógists of Bóko Haram /Bandits have a separate country of their own. |

Igbos always excel where there is merit /excellence. If everything is done on Merit in Nigeria, Igbos will take driving seat in most sectors of this country. |
This country should be divided into 2, let those who value cows above human lives stay on their own. |
ARISHEM:Don't just stop the blame at NFF. Why has NFF been poor in managing football? Why is our local league so poor that no clubside has won any African competition in recent years? Why did Chan Eagles perform so poorly? This is the root cause: The system in Nigeria favours Nepotism, Tribalism & Religious sentiments ahead Meritocracy & Excellence. The best & most competent hands are never the ones in charge. Our poor performance in football is only a reflection of the poor & deteriorating state of most sectors in the country. Even if you decide to change the entire NFF, the system will still not allow the best & most competent hands to emerge. Same system that brought in the current set of mediocres will still bring in another set of mediocres. |
None of the above. Their poor performance is a general reflection of how every sector is deteriorating in the country. Patriotism, National Pride & fighting spirit is low. At the back of their minds, "Nigeria is not worth dying for". So the players are simply not giving their 100% best. Their allegiance is far more to their various clubs than to Nigeria. |
Americans in general are passionate about their Country. They believe in their country. In Nigeria, people believe in Nigeria only when their tribeman is the president or when they are feeding fat from the Government of the day. |
Successive governments in Nigeria have always been worse than their predecessors. The only way to reverse this trend is to do something drastic & different from status quo. We can't continue repeating same thing & expect a different result. Unfortunately, Tribalism & Religious sentiments will not allow us to do the needful. |
Softmirror:Tinubu's statement does not mean there are no poor Nigerians. Rather it's an acknowledgement that there are poor Nigerians, but that it shouldn't be so, & that there is no justification for Nigerians to be poor. |
Engen:Why foreign? Why not an indigenous language? So you are proud to depend on another man's language? You are also proud when Nigerian children jettison vernacular in favour of English? That's a loss of identity & a form of slavery. |
Chelle's tenure has so far been disappointing. Amunike would have done better as S/Eagles coach, but then many decisions in this country are based on Sentiments & Favouritism rather than on Merit & Sound Judgement. |
papiwyte:Many non-online voters/supporters are also not registered voters. Anyway that's not the point. The point is.... Majority of online people (Netizens) are the literate & educated class in society. That majority of Netizens overwhelmingly support a particular candidate speaks volumes, irrespective of whether he wins actual elections, which we all know is subject to a lot of other factors including rigging & manipulation. |
Onewazobia:Why foreign? Why not an indigenous one? So you are proud to depend on another man's language? You are also proud when Nigerian children jettison vernacular in favour of English? That's a loss of identity & a form of slavery. |
wellmax:What's the National Language of England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Norway.... ![]() In case you don't know, they are respectively English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian... |
timilehin007:And you are proud to depend on another man's language, an adulterated one for that matter. ![]() Are you also proud when Nigerian children jettison vernacular in favour of English. ![]() That's a loss of identity & a form of slavery. |
I still regard this coastal highway as a white elephant project, that should not be priority in Nigeria. There are over 30 bridges, while driving through the existing East-West road section of Delta State to Rivers state. You can then imagine the immense number +cost of bridges needed for a parallel Coastal Road version that will be closer to the Atlantic coast. |
Hope they are not counting dialects as languages. We need a single National Language as obtainable in most European countries. Maybe WaZoBia will suffice. |
papiwyte:An online poll has nothing to do with ranting or making noise online. It simply reflects a candidate's popularity among Netizens. And we all know that Netizens are majorly the educated & literate class in Society. That a candidate is popular among the educated class speaks volumes. On the other hand, online polls not reflecting in reality could also be due to manipulation of the electoral process. Anyway, best Govt can do for the nation is to ensure free & fair elections. On the other thread, FIRS announced they can now monitor all financial transactions real-time. A similar implementation in the electoral process will go a long way in ensuring credible elections. |
Metrofox:So how does this cash gift motivate Soldiers, Lectures, health workers, etc to put in their best towards nation building? Wearing the green & white colours alone is enough motivation to serve your country if there is patriotism. Look Bro, the entire remuneration system in the country is in a mess; reason for the large scale Japa & brain drain. &I am talking about basic remuneration for hard work, not cash gifts. That should rightfully be the priority of Govt. |
papiwyte:But shouldn't that be a concern to you that the result of the actual election does not reflect that of a candidate who largely wins online polls? Does it not suggest that there is a flaw in the electoral process that needs to be corrected to reflect the true will of the people? |
Metrofox:Quit the tantrums & look at it from a broader perspective of Nation Building. To what extent does this cash largese contribute to Nation Building? ... against the background of Educational, Health & Security sectors that are all in shambles in the country. If there was such reward system in those sectors, Nigeria would be a stronger nation. Brain drain & Japa syndrome would be at minimum. Our soldiers in Sambisa, Police at check points, university Graduates, striking Lecturers & hospital staff are all ill-motivated. Ideally, wearing the Green & white jersey for your country is enough motivation & reward. But then patriotism is almost zero. People play because of cash gifts. All these are absurdities and amount to misplaced priorities. |
Even Reno Omokri who once praised Peter Obi to high heavens, is now ass-licking Mr President, whom he once tagged "A KNOWN DRUG LORD". 👉Reno Praise Obi |
