Hon. Akhakon Anenih has picked his Express of Interest form under the Nigerian Democratic Congress and is gearing up for the submission , screening and other activities earmarked by the national leadership of the party.

As the National assembly hopeful picked his EOI form in the midst of teeming supporters, he expressed optimism as he reiterated to pressmen that he was bringing a human face to leadership in Esanland that would make the people the focus and bring the dividends of democracy and equitable distribution of resources alongside policies that are geared towards making life easier for his constituents .

Akhakon Anenih has been consulting far and wide and the response has been in one vojce and unison, " take the cry of the people of Esan North East/South East to the national assembly and bring back the presence of federal government to our cobstituency".

In a time as this, where we have signed not too young to run bill into law, how do the youths participate in an election where APC is asking for 22 million, PDP is 20 million and APGA has asked for 12 million .

My candid opinion is that we are not yet ready to give the youths a chance to contest for elective positions, today with these political happenings, a youth would require over 800 million naira to win a governorship election.

I urge every youth out there with a political ambition, it is time we put our heads and hearts together to stop this robbery of our patrimony and we are crying to the political parties to grant waivers to youths contesting on their platforms .
