Pay Advice is applicable only to those who have been offered admission. It has got absolutely nothing to do with everything we did before the admission list came out.

What are you saying? The payment voucher (which is equivalent to a pre-admission Pay Advice) was generated when you registered. It contained advice pertaining to payment and banks and amount and reference number. What was generated after payment (and registration) were the admission form and exam pass.

Regarding accommodation, there is only one official hostel for Masters students situated within the school's main campus and that is Henry Carr Hall. But it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye than for anyone to secure room space in that hall. Anyway, apparently, allotment will be on first click first serve basis after a process that'll be conducted later. But, from what I've heard, that process is mostly a charade as the rooms would have already been awarded on a who-do-you-know basis. Good morning, folks.

People should goan pay before registration commences? Who does that? *smh* In any case Unilag announced dates for the purchase of forms, for the deadline for purchase, and for the commencement of entrance examinations. The anomalies recorded in the exam conduct were due to logistical reasons and not because of misinformation. If you've been following this thread you'll know I've interacted nicely with folks, but when people continue asking the same questions 348, 950 times, over and over again like adolescents it becomes tiresome to the point of annoyance.

Well for your information, unilag's antecedents repudiate your standpoint of an official pronunciamento as regards registration. Reflects on the anomalies that characterised the screening exercise where some exam pass carried a wrong date while some other didnt carry any details other than name and department. Dont try to deny it cause I experienced it myself and had it not been for my curiosity and advice from some other persons ;Timo inclusive, I would have missed out on the screening test.

I honestly agree with your patience advocacy but you should try to be mature about it and ensure you mitigate how you vilify others opinion. One luv!

Yea bro. so we'll wait for the Debit note, then print and take to the bank before they upload our pay advice. Simple. (@Application process tho, we paid to the bank before the pay advice form was filled with the amount we paid.) Hence, we'll chill for the Debit note as stated in the online procedure on the spgs site.

Is there any award for who first pay? Haba! when the time is right what you need will be provided on your portal..PATIENCE!!! I repeat, until the merit list for ALL the departments and faculties is released registration cannot commence. So all of you should just calm down.

Someone said below that one has to pay the acceptance fee before the pay advice can be generated. What kind of nonsense opinion is that? You expect a school of the stature of unilag to NOT announce the commencement of their registration exercise? *sigh* I guess we hold ourselves to low standards.

Whoever Mr. Timothy is, his advice is just that: advice. Whoever goes to a bank to pay before registration is officially announced runs the risk of not having his payment acknowledged by the university UNTIL reg officially commences, and then they'll come here and start complaining. Nonsense..

Very good. I'm inclined to concur with most of what you said, especially since the undergrads are slated to resume on January 19. That means Masters students have two weeks extra, at the very least, before our own resumption. I'm even inclined to believe that lectures proper may be put off until after the presidential elections on Valentine day.

Second, I bliv registration starts next year, January or February, mostly February perhaps, this is in contrary to what someone posted, Third, Unilag doesnt joke wth their acceptance fee, so get it ready. Fourth, For the remaining admission list not out,I bliv next week monday to wednesday is ideal to check back reasons been dat the site is limited by the amount of traffic it can take per time, plus some departments aint thru with admission list compilation. Smh. You clearly have no idea what you're saying. The difference between 2.1 and 2.2 is just five marks, by the way. Congratulations on your admission; that doesn't mean you ought to denigrate the performance of those who're less fortunate at the moment.

So Unilag s nt partial, ur score n d entrance exam s paramount. ur 2.1 can only give u 10mks ahead of one wit 2.2, then compare wen u score below 40... check urself dear!

Na wa for you. Deadline ko aliveline ni. Just so you know, you have SIX WEEKS AFTER the commencement of registration to pay all the payables or forfeit admission. And registration hasn't even been announced yet. So farabale.

What dean? Both of you should fly to PG school with your credentials, specifically the technical department, and get them to upload those documents for you. After that, you go to your department and inform them. Letters to the dean (or to anybody for that matter) take time to be responded to. That's my advice, anyway.

Sorry Sir. I'm sure it ain't Bigdreamz fault. There are times one could vouch for the efficiency of a business, but not for the character of its operator. Though the fellow that helped me with my own process was very cordial, I still ended up paying 1200 Naira. It could have been more except that he knows the person who referred me to him.

I know the owner of the site Bigdreamz is directing us to in person. Sincerely, my first encounter with him sha. That was during the application period, when I couldn't upload my certificates and passport photograph. I had to contact him through his phone number on the same site he directs us to. We fixed a meeting on campus, and he demanded for N2000 per application (of which I needed two). What turned me off about his personality were:

1) He made his demand on phone, while we were both at the location of meeting, and insisted we agreed on the price before meeting physically (haba! even if d price no pay you, courtesy na)

2) His way of talking was far from being polite (businessman wey dey interact like that, hmmm)
So with these, I'm not surprised he directs US to read news we've already read 2 days earlier.

Before any comment, I didn't say this to insult this gentleman, but the thing pain me that time. e too much.

Hmmm. Oh well, without prejudice to Primate's performance in the examination, 40.xx for the highly-competitive MBA is kinda low. The best thing to do is for him to activate his contacts in the school asap (if he has any). They might be able to squeeze him into the supplementary list.

The only difference is that, even without strike, There would always be that uncertainty as regards finishing a program there at the right time... even for a brilliant student.

It isn't as if I am trying to run down the school or something (it's arguably the best school in the country in terms of quality of graduates, certificate rating and stuffs), but in situations like this, one has to factor certain things into consideration before taking a decision.

Failure to secure admission could be very disappointing and the tendency for one to seek an immediate solution is perfectly normal, but I'd advise primate 2 to weigh his options properly, especially when provided with some useful information.
