I suggest you should try and settle whatever is between you because you need documentation only him can provide as proof of been there father, like you'll need his British passport data page, residential address and work etc

Please shed some light on how to go about a paid call or message. I've received visa approval message since the first of this month September yet no mail about passport pick up for the past 15 days. Problem is it's assisted service as the company paid for everything so I can't track it. And they won't answer mail unless they got information to pass on like the message received from UKVI on the first of this month about the visa been approved, they forwarded the message. Then nothing. So someone should help on how to go about paid mail so I can Contact them to know why the delay because someone else that was approved after my has received his passport with visa

You'll not be allowed to use life skills. If you try using it, they will reject it and give you small time to supply the correct one like general UKVI. Problem is by that time they are already holding your passport which you need to write another. Don't go for life skills because its cheaper as you'll end up regretting it

QUESTION: you said you sister took IELTS UKVI Academy. I was wondering if that is for a nurse / medical practioner.
I enrolled for the Lifeskill B1 test and going through the health care assistant option. Just wondering as our exams are different and if our application categories are different.

Is it possible to arrive UK on the expiry date on the vignette...if yes, can I still pick up BRP after the expiry date on vignette.

Vignette is valid till 15th of September. Due to an important issue I plan leaving Nigeria on the 14th September to arrive UK on the 15th September.
Will I be allowed entry at POE and can I still pick BRP after vignette validity while already in the Uk.?

As long as you enter by 15. If you read the letter for your successful visa application. Its clearly stated that your visa validity is within 90 days which you will have to get your BRP or within 10 days of your arrival in the UK, whichever is later. Now emphasis is on OR, so you've failed to meet up with the 90 days but 10 days after YES. Just my opinion based on my own letter

Since it's assisted service my employer is the one that paid for everything and updating me. Got a mail from my employer on the 4th of this month September with an attachment they received from UKVI that say congratulations my application has been successfully for a 5 years visa for starting from September 1st of this month. The problem is now today is 13th and I'm yet to receive any further communication from UKVI to pick up my passport with the vignette. Those who have idea should please let me know if it takes this long for pickup after letter of approval.

You are what is called civil partner so you are good, moreso, a positive dna test paternity and maternity at iom is as good as wedding registry as a civil partner. Just my take but for further clarification
