Those agbero wanted to milk me, but due to what I have read over a 100 times here, no show for them..I'm not mother Christmas, I went straight in.

Hello salsera -

Your statement is incorrect. To enter the US you must have a valid visa (valid on the date of entry, doesn't matter how much longer it is valid for) and a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry. If Rachie83 is planning to travel to the US in November 2017 then the Passport expiring in February 2018 will be a problem. She should renew the passport before traveling. If she has a visa in the passport that expires February 2018 she can bring that passport with her along with her new passport to be allowed entry. Alternatively, she can renew the passport before her interview so that it is all in 1 passport.

It means that BEFORE you APPLY for a visa you must have 6 months at least left on your PASSPORT.
In your case both your visa and passport are both valid when you intend to travel in November 2017.
If you decide to travel AFTER Feb 2018 when your passport expires then you need a new passport but your US visa(in your expired passport) if its still valid can be taken along.

Thanks for your response but I am more confuse now cos someone here said I will have to renew my passport cos it must have at least six month validity before i travel in november but you said otherwise, please someone should help for more clarification.

Yes. You passport should have at least six months validity, so, you have to renew. A combo of both the new and old passport with the visa in it will suffice/ be required.

You may file for the visas with your old passports if you would like. You will need to have a passport with at least 6 months of validity to enter the US, but the visa does not necessarily need to be in that passport. You would then need to travel with your old (expired or expiring in less than 6 months) passport containing your valid visa as well as your new passport with at least 6 months validity.

Please clarify this for me, my passport will expire by February 2018 and I hope to travel to the US by november this year and my passport with a valid visa will only have 3month to expire, does it mean I won't be allowed into the US or do I need to renew my passport before I travel by november?

Yes, going to the US just for wedding shopping is a red flag when you can do the same shopping here. I will suggest you tell the VO you will be going for vacation( make sure you ve places you will like to enjoy your vacation in one of the known US states for such and an hotel you will like to stay) then you will use the opportunity to shop for your wedding coming up so so date. Tourist trips are for the family, except as a group/organization. You can't go on a tourist trip like this without the children, your husband case is different as he could be busy with work during the time.

I don't think it matters cos alot of married men ve been given without them going on a vacation with their family, I just believe it is an individual VO thing.

The so called Engr Wale called my husband this morning that there is a project concerning his work at magodo area lagos state that one Hon. LTD PASTOR AYODELE AT AGBARA. We came online to discovered they are scammers. The so called hon. Usman Muhammed called spoke like a real hausa man which my husband flow well with him he promised to call back by 11:30am so that my husband will come and meet him at MMIA to bring the sample of the product. Engr Wale called back to hear the feed back but my husband told him to bring money to buy the said product so as to give it to the fake honourable

If you intend to stop over in UK you have to get a UK visa. I. E go to the embassy. Do all the sereree and and get the visa.
