Good morning nairalanders. I want to register and write the TOEFL exam, but i dont know how to go about the registration. I have googled and searched this forum but all i get is different exam bodies promoting their business. My question is can't a candidate register directly on their website, get materials prepare and write the exam, must we go through such bodies? What is the advantage of registering with such bodies? How do i get to know exam centres in my state? am currently in kaduna state and am yet to see information on any centre here. please anyone with relevant information should please enlighten the house, thanks. |
generalbush:If you mean that as a question, the answer is yes.... so which countries should we be looking out for? |
generalbush:If that is so, what countries are the best shot? am interested. |
yomyjoe:Well am not at that stage of application yet, but i think paying a sum to a block account should be easier. Betterstill those with better knowledge should provide help |

Hello mr Eduregard, am considering going for masters abroad, which countries still allow students to work and study. And yet have a descent or low tuition fee, and low cost of living. Not necessarily a scholarship. Thanks |
Good job Debbie, how about jobs in other states/region? Kaduna state precisely |

My phone Sony Xperia z3 dual has been giving me issues lately, since I replaced its screen at Makarfi complex in Kaduna. Even the replaced screen did not fit well, if you stay in Kaduna and you know a reputable repair centre or Sony repair centre, do well to help out. Thanks |
idris4r83:Quite on d high side, but thanks.... I was told the screen needs to be changed. Hope u didn't get any issue. Mine is barely a month old |
idris4r83:ok thanks, I know dere. How much did it cost? |

sanky346:No offence meant, but this point you just made is one of the issues we have in this country, how can you lead if you can't follow. How many churches do we have in this country? Yet no good christians or people in general. |

op is a real hiphop head, great list with detailed explanation.......Jaggo anyday is a demon on the mic. All other rappers listed are great. Though am kind of disappointed at M.I for not being consistent with his illegal music mixtape, that has always been one of the maddest hip hop mixtape in Nigeria. |
The iPhone as we know it, is a top of the class smartphone that has gained reputation over the years and since it's first release in 2007 has revolutionised the smartphone ecosystem forever. It is a well built phone with premium hardware, everything about the iPhone speaks premium. Its yearly release ranks among the best in the entire universe. It has top class camera, and loads of applications far above the number of any other mobile platform. The Bad My first and only iPhone till date was bought in 2013, you could imagine the excitement, but all was shortlived after discovering its shortcomings. 1. Inability to download just about any mp3 or mp4 file and play it right from the music player. I am an ardent music lover, I download music a lot, from the latest tracks to popular classics, and of course I do most of the listening on my smartphone. But with the iPhone it was almost impossible as I can't just download a track and have it added to a playlist or play from the music player. Well before you crucify me; there is a walk through for that, download such files to your pc and sync using iTunes app. But of course syncing has its negative side; syncing with a new pc or just any pc will replace all media in the smartphone with those from the new pc, hence to use this method, you ought to use the same pc, or one with the phone media files in it or risk loosing your files in the process. A smartphone being dependent on a pc, hmmmm isn't a smartphone suppose to be a mini pc? I reserve my comment. Or you might decide to go the UK route; simply buy the mp3 from iTunes store for $0.99 to avoid all the hassles. ![]() 2. Locked down . Sure our android users know how seamless it is to share any apk file. Instead of having to download it over and over again with our not so good networks providers in the country and the exorbitant cost of data. But in the case of IOS, sharing of apps is a no go area, unless with a work around which am sure is a route non of you will be willing to take . Bluetooth is available but non functional (pun intended) as it cannot be used for its more primary purpose of file transfer as on other platforms. Fanboys claim security being an excuse for lock down, is the IOS more secure than BBOS? Yet without much limitations. My Thoughts The iPhone is a great smartphone, agreed. But it's issues I can't live with as a Nigerian who wants value for money and maximum productivity. Its not a phone for the Nigerian market, little wonder it is yet to be launched here. Its been a while since I used my last iPhone, any iPhone user in the house should prove me wrong where necessary. But I am still searching for a reason to jump on the iPhone wagon.

dabexy:Chemistry, and from what I heard....all names have been sent down for months now |
[quote author=dabexy post=37632530]From what I heard, majority of nam |
![]() dabexy:Resolved? I don't think so, when only about 15 to 20% of the names where uploaded, others were consoled by false promise made by the administration. And the painful part is we don't know why we are still being kept at home. |
Annoying mhen, by October we would have spent a year at home yet no reason has been given by the school authorities for not mobilising students. we are still hoping and praying to be mobilised for 15B ..........AAU Alumni/ Alumnae in the house, let us push this thread to front page. Till our voice is heard. |
Truth be told without sentiments, the government/ organisers is a scam, they couldn't honour their agreement with the celebrities, they instead degenerated to giving petty excuses Silly politicians ![]() |
