Oga Kiwi,

Sorry for not been explicit in my messages, i kind of just rush through my statements and I also want to over emphasize the need for us to study.

I am currently having access to the IDES R/3 4.7 and ECC6.0, along with the countless materials I have gotten, all I do is eat, drink and sleep SAP.

I wont let you down, be rest assured.

Thanks alot for the concern.

Oga Kiwi and others I salute ohhhhh.

Bros you have been so so helpful to us and as many of us that have gotten any material at all, i feel the only thing we can do to show appreciation is to go and READ BOOK AND PRACTICE and like you challenged, come the second half of the year, at least we have Consultants in the house!!

From my observation on the site, permit me to say most of us are not studying, we just checking out to be spoon fed, which i feel is not necessary. SAP is so demanding that is why there are few Consultants, I have since realized it is not MCSE or CCNA. Just come to the site, get information and trends, go back and read read read. (those of you who have gotten any material at all on SAP, would agree with me that the work load is really really much).

So Bros Kiwi, i dey hia like shadow oh, i dey read book and practice, seriously, seriously, I want to be the first to tell you (like I did with the Code), Bros I don be Consultant ohhhhhhhhhhh. That I know would make you know you have really done a good job.

I decided to go into SAP HR because of my management experience and training over the last 3 years, and also because i feel it is invaluable to any establishment, it has much global demand, the recession is making demand for SAP HR Consultants much and a host of other reasons (everyone this is my decision, it is not open for discussions or debate, oya u make up your mind and get yah own).

I must tell you all the information Kiwi gave was valuable to my decisions and is HELPFUL to my studies.

Cheers guy/girls and all the best.

Hi all,

its been a long while, i have been studying. That's the idea, you get access to the information, sites and materials and go and practice cos at the end of the day if we dont have Nigerian Consultants from this site as Kiwi said, it would be a waste.

Oga Kiwi thanks a whole for all the help, pls pls pls just ignore that Indian and dont allow him.her to spoil your mind.

We would always appreciate your help, guidance and advise.

All the best everyone and pls make una go read ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I would pop in again soon!!!!

Oga Kiwi i assure that as much people that got access to that site really did get enuff materials.

Be mindful however that most choice information were locked in zones u had to pay to access, while we were ready to pay, the Nigerian factor stood against us.  Are u aware that you cant buy anytin from paypal with a Nigerian credit card, we could not register, donate or even make purchases.

Anywayz dat said, be comforted big brother thru our posts that we are trying, like little children learning to work, stumbling today and running tomorrow!

Later bro, thanks a zillion

NB: Shawn,am also looking at SAP BASIS and can assist you with some materials i got from the link Bros Kiwi gave us. wats yah email addy

Yeah Kiwi the site is gone and i tell you, i for one got quite somethings and i am really very appreciative of your effort, i do hope they get back on soon so one can still get much more, cos i was caught kinda unawares.

I am interested in the ECC6.0, cos with what i have gotten it just to practice shikenah!

Should we use ECC6.0 or IDES4.7,what do you advise, can we get anything from u (like the software u urself installed).

Enuff said, we wana start reading and practicing

Thanks again
Sports / Re: Nigerians To Buy Newcastle United FC? by Raheemoho: 9:35pm On Oct 07, 2008
While i agree it is a great deal and there is nothing sweeter than to see Nigerian in diaspora conquering the world, i want to ask when they would come and do something about our league.

Nigeria Football is the way it is because good men sleep and allow mediocrity take over.

Arise oh compatriots,Nigeria needs you. 2010 is NFA and NPL Elections, its high time we started seeing interested people making noise and presuring the government to focus just on policy and allow serious minded people pay the monies and control the game!

Oga Kiwi,

I feel you jare, but then i feel we look out for others because of God, we all have one or two funny stories.

That said, on behalf of everyone, i say a very very big A VERY BIG SORRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYY for not aving the courtesy to you and countless good hearted professionals that have dropped various info for us, we are in deed very very grateful.

Concerning the employement scenario in naija its dat bad oh, its sumtin that really baffles me. The latest craze now is as far as you can produced anything that you trained abroad (school, course etc) you get sumtin over us hia, that why some post hear are asking about the possibility of training abroad and working dia for some experience, bros no blame us we don see beta days.

As regards the site, I realized that a whole naija is not listed on the paypal area (or any of the payment options for that matter) on the site, so for now i cant even be a special member.

Career / Re: About Sap? by Raheemoho: 8:48am On Sep 27, 2008
Hi Guz,

i strongly believe the best way to go about this SAP stuff is to PERSONALLY get information, browse online and read for yourself
(browse about SAP, top skills, job placement and even salaries), you have to do something for yourself, NOTHING GOOD COMES CHEAP AT ALLLLLLLLLLLL.

Oga Kiwi i however have one tot to share, you would agree with me that in Nigeria we have a craze for foreign things, most organsisations would prefer to go for a foreign SAP Consultant that us their brothers oh.

That been said Nigeria is obviously the best place for us to get our break and proceed, SAP market is like every other market you would just have to hussle yourself. May I therefore suggest a kinda forum for Consultants and callout to all those Senior Nigerian Consultants to take one or two Consutants under them (remembering how they started too) and mentor them.

Thanks and double thanks Oga Kiwi (you d man).

This must be a sign for me to go into SAP proper, oga Kiwi, thanks i got it!!!!!!

I meant SAP NetWeaver and not Netware.

I was at SAP Abuja again today ( i had left a mail and the i got a call and was invited for a short talk)

The education resource person advocated NetWeaver (actuall EP 200) advising i go in first for Portal system administration to really learn the technology and hopeful have an experience in implemetations and thereafter pick any MM, SD, CRM, BI etc. Wat do yah tink as someone who has 1st hand experience.

Anyway she gave me an assignment and i think i want u all interested to also do:

go to "http://www.sap.com/services/education/index.epx"

read everything you see and can, get to know SAP, it would help you decide on what you wana do!

Oga Kiwi, as i have decoded, e be like say we wld be pally pally ohhhhhhhh, anyoda tin 4me

Hello,

Alexis i would please like you to throw more light on

"My advice to you is this - don't learn the software, learn the technology that powers the software. Good luck"

I am interested in SAP am considering BW, MM or Netware, please anyone in the Nigerian, UK or Canadian market have any ideas for me.

If i am spending so muc studying SAP, i believe that at least u should pursue a module that would be rewarding.

Also, fellas what do you think of self study, how can i get access to materials
