These cell lines are used to grow the polio virus on - the subsequent polio virus is then washed and cleansed before it is inserted into the final OPV product. As such, the final OPV product does NOT contain any cell tissue, neither of the monkey kidney cells, nor of human diploid cells, depending on which production process is used.
