Sheriff232: Maybe they decided to give females chance, though there was no female during my time.Their presence will soften ground for the final successful ones, besides they will not suffer much, there is a ban on some things now,so it's going to be enjoyable for them and all the instructors that handled us has been posted out.Congratulations to those that made the first cut Ok bro |

Gisbourne44: He may actually have sent it to someone.. But he didn't follow up. That's where the problem comes.
My advice for those that saw their names is to be 100% in the interview.. Cos once the board says you must be selected. No connection would remove your name from that list. But if the board just puts you there to fill up space.. Nna.. Na that one them dey shift comot. lol. What if the Army needs only 5people and over 20people are 100% in the interview? |

Army stoped enlisting female officers into their combatant Regular Course d years ago. And none in the SSC. Check requiremnt for NDA RC addmission u will is it's clearly stated that female candidates should not select Army as their chioce of service. Big congrats to those that made it and a bigger congrats to those that didn't make it. You might be sad but thank God. It's God's plan. |

PrettyCrystal: A woman's Christmas celebration yesterday ended on a good note after she was delivered of a baby and a massive fibroid.
According to a Nigerian medical practitioner identified as Eric Ojeh, the woman who arrived the hospital with her huge bump, was delivered of the baby who weighed 1.8kg alongside the massive fibroid which weighed 9.8kg.
The doctor was excited about the baby's birth and hailed the delivery a Christmas gift.

ugo4u: I just de laff when I read some comments here, Army fit decide to do screening on Xmas day and nothing go happen, many people don't know that nothing like holiday for military, you can only get pass which is not even guaranteed sef. Visited an officer sometimes last month, was told he went for a meeting so I waited for like 4hrs no sign of him showing up and it was almost 4pm. I thought they usually close by 4pm like most government parastatals, so I told the P.A that I'll have to be leaving cos it was almost time for closing. She looked at me and smiled, she said they don't have closing time o, that they close by 7pm, 8pm etc at the discretion of the Oga. As we are speakingtyping they might release the list this night and tell everyone to assemble in new year day. Army work na madman job. lol. None of my brothers is coming home this Chrismas. They say no pass for them. They missed my granny burial few years ago. Once you are in that uniform, your freedom is taken away from you. I last saw my brother 'the one at Sambisa' in 2015. See what corrupt politicians have cuased. No jobs. Many won't join the military if there were jobs. I read about an Ameriacan guy who was jailed or about to be jailed becaused he refused to join US military. I think the guy was Mohammed Ali the boxer. Here in Naija we the beg to join. Naija shall be great again. |

Gentlelord: I really appreciate everyone for your comments thus far, it's very needed, it's what is keeping this noble platform alive. I pray my name comes out, if it eventually does I would be very grateful, but if it doesn't life goes on I will try again the only painful part is that NA does enlistment every 2yrs and not annually and we all know what that means (Age dey go).
please let's keep speculating and giving info, I always look forward to refreshing this page every seconds because of you guys and OUR funny way of responding to each other. I wish NA would select us all so that we can all camp together for the short period, I would personally want to buy Ugo4u 2bottles of HERO, and would like to flog ErimakoSamuel
Victory is from God Alone see y'all in sati the Erimako guy is the guy I followed to this thread. The guy caused havoc in NAF and NN thread so I traced him to this Army thread. I for like span his butt oo. Lol |

Friends when the list comes out whether your name is there or not pls celebrate o. Eat your favourite, drink your favourite and wear your favourite.
When NN list came out and I didn't see my name. I went out bought my favourite food and drinks brought back home. Eat, drink and played my favourite song 'God's Plan' by Drake.
It was God's plan I didnt make the list.
It was God's Plan I didnt have NIN no to apply for NAF and it's still God's plan that I didn't apply for Army.
This 25th I will be at Eko Hotel laughing out loud and enjoying myself. I only live once.
I cannot come and kill myself. Life goes on.

Gisbourne44: Same with me. My dads class mate in NMS is a rear admiral (RC) working in the naval headquarters Abuja. Dad is a colonel (DRC) working at AHQ, Abuja. Still my name didn't come out.
Am 26, but I already told my parents I won't try the Armed Forces after this year. I just want to shed the final tears and call the military dream career over.
First nda interview was 2009 61 RC (quota system was what I felt ruled me out this year, Chief of defence staff at the time Paul dike was from my local government)
Second nda interview was 2012 64 RC (board chairman who later went on to become the chief of naval staff was from my state) Dele ezeoba or maybe he was the board chairman for 65rc (can't really remember)
Third nda interview was 2013 65 RC ( I don't really remember the details of this year's interview)
It's not all states that requires too much connection to get this military job
Sometimes your connection may not even have your time. When money speaks, every other thing doesn't matter.
I know a major sons that got into nda 65rc and in that same state a Maj Gen son was on reserve list.
Connections sometimes are complicated
Dssc is even more complicated in terms of connection than SSC
Cos a lot feel there is enough cover from combat zones when you apply for DSSC. No be lie bro. Everybody has a story. I have 3brothers and am only daughter. One of my bro joined thruogh NDA. The other two tried NDA many times no head. One was on NDA reserved list twice still no way.. They finally joined the Airforce through other ranks. One is presently doin a program at AFIT while one is at Borno fighting Boko boys. God above man jare. |

Before I even greet him finish sef the man ask me what I'm doing currently(For my mind I said God wants to use this man arrange my matter) I told him, but insisted I want to join Airforce. Baba paused for like 5 good minutes I was thinking maybe he was trying to pull one or two strings @Hq NAF, I was like father lord as you did it for Esther and she found Favour in the sight of King Ahaseurus so will I find favour in AVM **** . Baba come back from trance oo, come begin tell me the story of him life, how him take enter Airforce without knowing anybody and stuffs like that(immediately my spirit just weak cos I know how the matter go take end) Una Sabi as e de be na after e preach finish e tell me say make I believe God. After much much I just carry my sef find my square root and 2 of the man children na commissioned officers oo, one still de NDA... Naija now na family first oo b4 any other person. lol. When you see situations like that, not that the general doesn't wants to help. His hands are shorts. |

GeneralFeezy: Please kindly clarify for us in your earlier post. Is screening starting on the 18th Jan or on the 4th? Me I wan no when to resign from work abeg Hey frnd, pls don't resign from your job yet. Even if your name appears on the first list don't resign until u make the final. You can take a brk from your work place. Even if a general has assured u of the army job still don't resign yet. They way I see things, it seems the competition is very high. Evey general wants his wards in the military. My dad was gistin with his course mate on phone and their gist moves from their usual talk to postings and enlistment talk. The man told my dad that he has told his nephw not to rely on the army job because his hands are shorts. That the big boys have taken over the enlistemnt exercise process. That's when I realised that all generals are powerful but some are more powerful. If a general could say his hands are shorts in the exercise then you know what it means. Just pray for God's favor and dont quit your job yet. I applied for this ongoin NN enlistemnet exercise and my dad gave my details to his course mate a commodore to work it out. The list came out and my name wasn't on the list. The commodore's daughter's name came out. When my dad called him, he told my dad that he was asked to give only one name. And you know a man will not chose his friend's daughter over his own daughter. So he picked his daughter. The commodore told my dad that he's not sure his daughter will make the final list. Because e get as e b. Every red collar officer wants his child there. I don't blame them. I blame the situation of the country. No jobs. What am I trying to say? The chances of getting this military job with or without connection is small. Imagine the need only 3 candidates from a whole state and in that same state there are more than 10 generals and these generals all want their wards enlisted. So brother think before you act. |

hausadreturn: You joined via NDA?
Please, those initials after your name... fss, dss, gss, psc + What are they for and what do they mean? lol. psc means Passed Staff College. It means that d officer has taken staff colloge course at a staff colloge. Then the (+) represents dagger. So psc(+) means Pass Staff College Dagger. dss means Distinguished Service Star. It's an award given to an officer who has done quite excptional in a given field or area of responsibility. gss means Grand Service Star fss means Forces Service Star. Also an award. |

Pls which is the fourth form? Thanks pls. A boy brought his referee form for my dad to sign last week. My dad told him since he doesn't know him in person, he won't sign d referee form without seeing his parent/guardian form and his parent/guardian form must be signed by his parents before he signs the referee form. The boy left and came back this week with all is forms including the parents form. My dad collected his parent phone no and called his dad. Asked him if he's aware that his son applied for Army.
