I'm having similar issue with my accord, when d engine idles, the temperature rises but wen running above 2000 rpm, temperature seems to b normal. Fans work with termostat and runs well.

Car in question 1999 accord, l4, auto.
When idling expecially in traffic temperature rises high, but when the throttle is applied and engines runs from 2000 rpm upward temperature goes down to normal. Fans works with termostat. and runs well. Any clue with wats next to do?

Dodge viper has a big headed piston chamber with a crazy guzzling gasoline volume of 8.7litres v10 engine and just 600hp.

My take, Japanese Cars are still the best!!
