We are aware that cars from cotonu are very cheap, but transporting it down to your destination is almost an (reserve my word).
What is your opinion, if you buy those cars in cotonu and make registration here in lagos, then take the papers, including your plate number back to cotonu, would that compensate the huge extra cost from boders, since your car is already registered?
Just want to hear from you....

You will agree with me that honda suspension mechanism can be very disappointing, even when you think you have the right parts. Help if you know where to get oem parts and not get completly ripped off.

i always make sure it doesnt get above 4k rpm wen changing to any gear.
i hit constant 3200rpm at 140kmph, hitting 5400rpm at 180kmph.

my car hits 5000 rpm to engage second gear, sometimes 6000 at normal pedal pressure.... think my gear is giving up

Having said this www.nairaland.com/1987418/disadvantages-rev-car-up-6000rpm whats the best rpm to roll with everyday, be it turbo charged, super charged, midrange or lower powered engines.

Na lie. The motor wasn't faulty in that SUV. The dumb mecho killed the engine by constantly pushing the rev counter to the redzones.

Sometimes you feel you need to get there faster...expecially at night... so when the toll barriers are lifted up, u step on the accelerator like never before and the car jumps to the next gear with ultimate response, getting to the 4th gear you found out your stock to 140kmh, stepping out of the pedal for a moment, you hit again, what seems impossible became....... (I reserve my word) giving you the access of up to 7500rpm you feel the power coming out of the exhaust channel as the car jerks to 180kmh getting ready for the next flight of 200kmh....
If I may ask what are the disadvantaged of such high rpm and advantages if any.

It's not that difficult to exceed the 140km/hr mark Sir. If your car is auto transmission, when you are around that speed limit, release the accelerator and depress it again just a little below it's previous position. If your engine and transmission are top notch, it will surprise you how your accord will respond. Be ready to 'fly' though, cos the movement becomes something else!!

I advise you stay below 140/hr though, no matter where you're driving. Life has no duplicate Sir

There are no police report, vehicle license , car sale agreement signed with witnesses n most importantly change of ownership certificate (n I guess this last one is y police arrested u) there. Sth tells me ur car is nt stolen but police must chop frm u

Which car did u buy n at wat price bc d price u bought d car can help show u r innocent eg u can't buy a clean 1999 najia used toyota camry 200k n claimed u didn't kw it is stolen.

I hope u ve a decent occupation which can help prove u r innocent if eventually it is stolen.

Dnt panic ur offence ll b dt u received stolen car, u ll lose much money but ll b freed if u provide d seller.

Get his biodata, national I'd or international passport plus passports. A civil servant like teacher, lecturer, banker, lawyer, doctor n registered car dealers r d ppl dt r easily reached.

Op do well to tell us d username of d guy dt sold d car to u on nairaland may b anoda person ve an experience wit him good or bad b4 we can label him a criminal

its a 1999 honda accord, bought at the rate of 460k
the vehicle licence expired a month ago pior to purchasing the vehicle, which i eventually renewed.

U need to show them who sold the car to you. So contact d previous owner b4 u enter atm for receiving stolen car. If u can't provide d person dt sold d car to u then u r in hot pepper soup

Did u do police clearance b4 rushing to buy d car?

Dnt worry d car could b genuine but there is something missing in your papers and dts y it is tagged stolen. So if u really need our help list out all d papers and particular u got from seller let's see wat is missing. Police sabi maga ppl so stay cool

Third party insurance
Treasury cerificate
Treasury receipt
Allocation of registration number
Roadworthiness certificate
Writen reciept from the seller

I use the same model (4 plugs) and my gear no act right. The D4 was blinking then I changed the gear switch (sensor) and it's beta but not up to 90% cos sometimes it's still blinks and I have to turn off the engine and restart.
