AS LEGISLATORS REFUSE SALARY CUT.
I read with dismay the position of our legislators at federal level not to allow any downward review of their take home ,it is not unexpected as the bunch of people there are political vultures with the common aim of milking this Nation dry,.Saraki was the first to cast obnoxious utterances on PMB when he announced his intention to reduce his salary unfortunately the same Saraki is now the senate President so what do expect?
However my suggested position is this:,lf we truely elected this people to represent us ,that means we are their employers while they are our employees, the employer everywhere determines what he can or will pay ,if the employee is not satisfied he has the option of seeking alternative elsewhere, the Latin sayings"voi populi supremales ipso facto voi pupoli voi dei" (the voice of the people is supreme if that is the case the voice of the people is the voice of God),l think the best option is for the masses of this Nation to recall these people back to their respective homes ,put the National Assembly vacancy out with salary tag of 1/3 reduction of present pay and anybody who genuinely want to serve our fatherland to apply,shikena.
