To those who reapplied after a refusal, how long did it take to get a decision for your second application?

Sir, I believe you may have misunderstood the gentleman’s argument. It wasn’t a personal attack on you, but rather a general comment on why someone with a strong profile, like yours, might face rejection. Recently, several Indians with visitor visas were also sent back from Canada, so there’s no longer any "secret" about these situations. It’s a collective misuse of the system, which some see as an advantage or even religious grace, but has unfortunately become a burden for others like yourself.and it not about you in the bad light but collectively as Nigerian we are moving at a very fast speed beyond a bad lighting

I understand the pain of your refusal, and I'm truly sorry. You might consider renewing your UK visa for a family holiday, then applying for a U.S. visa since you previously held a U.S. transit visa. I wish you all the best in your next steps.

Brodaly as i type this i am on a foreign going ship living n working with Indians n have done it for more than 10yrs so i get realtime first hand info frm them which i don't wnt to go into here.
But for d sake of info sharing on this platform to help our selves, when someone drops an update on refusal of visa let's firstly try to be sensitive n show compassion towards d one with d refusal at least for taking their time to share an update of refusal to help others with d info.

People with stronger profile than yours are claiming asylum, so what do you want Canada to do?

When we condemn the act people give excuse. For one person that falsely claims asylum in Canada about 2k genuine persons will be refused also. That is the effect.

We encourage people not to use there own subtle success to block real opportunities for others, it's equivalent to witchcraft sincerely.

My good broda this asylum talk on this platform is not helping any of us, i think is good for us to knw ircc have Nigerians on their payroll n those pple get info frm social platform like this. So we shld try n stop doing all these talk of asylum on public platform like this.
And is good we knw Nigerians are not d nmbr one asylum seekers, Indian are nmbr one but u can never ever see them trying to speak against it on public platform like we do for d sake of correction.

But get higher rate of visa approval than us, why do u think dat is. They don't expose them selves publicly like we do, together with other more reasons.
Even if what u are saying is correct d way u said it without compassion is really not good. Plz broda nxt time don't do like this because u put me in a bad light like i told u I am travelling to seek asylum n u can most likely be destroying ur own chances of success too.
Lastly if we keep giving pple negative energies like this on d this platform pple will most likely stop posting refusal dat will be of help to another person.

Travel history....UK(expired), South Africa(expired) n Ghana(resently). Singapore n Mexico(i didn't include both)
Have USA transit visa obtained in London(expired 2016).
Work...Seaman over 10yrs of work experience in same company.
Submitted....
Letter of engagement
Wedding certificate
Proof of Landed property
Mnthly salary well over 1M
I used an agent but to be honest d guy is good with his job.
I give such details so that my profile can be used by others to do their own permutations
Reasons for refusal....
I'm not sure you will leave Canada at d end of ur stay.
Asset n financial situation not sufficient to support stated purpose.
Purpose of visit not consistent with temporal stay.
I will request for GCMS note to get more details of d reasons for refusal.

Please for those who got their TRV Approved, how long did your Eligibility Review take?

The wait is choking.... I am March applicants.

My biometrics was March 22nd no info at all on my Eligibility, hence my wait continues but i have a feeling that decision will soon be made.

My new passport was genuinely obtained through the right process, all due process followed, so I’m very okay with them sending it to immigration for confirmation

All I want is for them to affix my visa for me at the end of everything

My broda ur situation is really dicey as it stands. Even if u got ur new passport genuinely u have given them good reason to suspect u...
It is common knowledge that ur passport can't be renewed with more than 6mnth validity, except for d following reasons that someone on d platform has stated for u.
Ur only shot nw, so u will get ur visa n passport bck is write to them letting them knw d same reason u gave to immigration that qualified u for renewal.
Plz what ever u do don't give d reason for ur renewal is to enjoy 10yrs validity of visa except is d official reason immigration have registered on their system for ur renewal.
Ur case is 50/50

I check my VO notes on my GCMS file on my ongoing application, I saw that everything is going fine especially the confirmation of my PoF value. Is that a good sign?

Please for those with experience of checking gcms notes for ongoing application...please kindly share your experience.

My application was refused, they said insufficient finance, I used agent b4 but I want to reapply by myself now, pls any body can help me with the documents to use pls,

My good broda like someone suggested, since is insufficient finance, take little time to build ur finance before applying again.
If i may ask how much was ur POF...
Any travel history....etc
So pple will knw hw to guide u on what u need this time.

I moved into a new neighbourhood and i stay alone. Luckily I came across my childhood friend one fateful day on my way to fill up my cooking gas.

we exchanged contact, I found out we live closed to each other. she now has 6kids with her husband, the eldest child being 13yrs old.

As formal friends and now neighbours I tried to assist her with whatever little I could as they're not doing so great in financially.

I noticed whenever I enter her house, she's somewhat uneasy as she would apologized for the messy state of her house, the dirty floor , the roughness of the building which i don't even care to notice as I am not judging her.

I reduced my entrance into her house due to the fact I didnt want her to feel bad about whatever she might be thinking of her house. it was making feel uncomfortable to hear such complains too.

I usually send her kids on errands, which I give them monetary compensations. I called her on phone one day to send her second daughter to me that I wanna send her on an errand, she replied yes she would but I didn't see the daughter.

I was cooking rice, the kids came. I dished for them and I asked the daughter why she refused to come see me the day I sent for her. she told me it was her mother who told her not to come.

I was shocked ! if her mother didn't want me to send her on a errand she could have told me. I felt like I was disturbing her kids so I blocked her number and stop sending the kids message to run for me.

now she has been calling me but I've refused to answer her calls. am I wrong in wanting to end the friendship?

Plz ehn jst ignore pple abusing n attacking u for stating ur concern.
We leave in a country of too much sentiment n it colours pple's judgement towards reality.
Truth be told ur expectation frm ur friend was not out of order at all
In fact frm what i read n d subsequent replies u gave shows u are most likely dealing with a friend dat will resent u and it has even started but subtly.
My advise....
In d future when ever u are helping anyone in need especially family n friends do it frm a distance is for ur safety n mental health.
For those of us abusing, attacking n advising d op shld plz put their selves in her shoes.
Hw can it be out of place to expect pple who come to ur house to collect frm u regularly to assist u once in awhile.
As long as d collecting is regularly d op expectation is a practical thing to do.
PLZ LET US STOP THIS UNNECESSARY AGGRESSION TOWARDS ONE ANOTHER.

You have done well by going to d doctor as ur first line of action.
This is most likely water borne infection, d thing is that other pple might be taking same water without any external bodily reactions.
What d doctor gave u as solution will work if u only stop giving him dat water to drink. One thing i knw abt this infection is, if u stop drinking d supposedly infected water d body will rid itself naturally of d infection within days but if u want it to go very fast jst use what d doctor gave u and also stop drinking d water.

Please doctors in the house, for some weeks now my 4yr old son has this recurring boils on his back and armpit, when I burst them, it brings out a pus like substance and form a sore. I went to the hospital, the doctor said it was a bacteria infection and I was giving some antibiotics, yet so far no tangible results. Please I need your assistance

I'm 100% sure is water borne infection, it looks like a combination of boil n ringworm with watery discharge. Can be mostly found on d upper side of d bck n if u continue using d infected water it will spread to different parts of d body...hands, legs n on d scalp of d head.
Jst follow d doctors prescription n stop d use of any water u have been drinking even if is sachet water because some sachet water are bad.
Note...it multiply rapidly within days
