Oh I did. At a point in time, I was even attributing all the good things coming to me to him (and I'd only known him for a month). I told my mum it was because of him I was experiencing those things even though it obviously had nothing to do with him.

The feelings started to fizzle out when I realized he doesn't have a strong personality as i'd love my man to have + one or two issues that we had. If not that I had told my family members about him too early on (out of excitement), I wouldn't have married him. Met at a wedding party.

Truth is, I'm the one who doesn't deserve him. That man is a good man.
