EFCC has arrested six suspected Internet fraudsters in separate raids carried out at various times across a number of locations in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The suspects: Chemezie Valentine Ezeife, Onwochei Chibuzor John, Onwochei Joel, Marvin Nwankwo, Prince Ojenike, and Jude Olatekobowale, were arrested following a tip-off.

Ezeife was arrested on January 16, 2019 at the Life Camp residential area in Abuja, following intelligence reports of shady activities traced to him. .

Among items recovered from him were a Mercedes Benz C300, Toyota Camry and Lexus Jeep, Seagate hard drive, 4 laptop computers, various wrist watches, two iPhones and blackberry phones, and a Samsung phone. Several suspicious emails were also traced to his account.

Investigation into the activities of another syndicate traced to the Nova Estate in Apo, led to the arrest of Joel and John (both brothers). John the younger of the brothers confessed that he got involved in Internet fraud as a student of the Delta State University.

He successfully defrauded one Miss Lynese from Zambia, using Facebook, in the guise that he was one Carlos Gomes, a British citizen. Among items found in his possession were iPhones, 2 laptops, a Range Rover, Benz E350, Toyota Camry and a landed property in Edo State

His brother, Joel, confessed that he got into yahoo yahoo through his brother, and asked him to teach him how to go about love scam.

The residence of a seventh suspect, Owootomo Tomilola Sunday, 22, was also raided at the Gwarimpa axis. He is involved with hackers who compromise e-mail of multinationals and other prominent companies.

Among items recovered from Owootomo, who is currently at large, are two Bugatti cars, a Mercedes Benz GLK, Mercedes Benz car, Porshe, $49,000 and duplex worth N300 million. They will be charged to Court as soon as investigations are concluded.

Greetings to anyone reading this, please pardon my grammatical errors as I bare my heart in this write up. We live in a down floor flat in a three storeyed building and as you know how most compounds in Surulere is without space, ours is surrounded by other tall buildings so to get fresh air especially at night is zero possible.
The state Government has not been forthcoming with pipe borne water these days despite knowing how important water is to human life, the power supply company are making it harder too, you go to bed at night, you won't sleep well due excess heat, you won't see water to at least bath throughout the night to keep cool till morning.
This has been going on in our area in Surulere around Itire/Ishaga. Last night, I thought I was going to die oh God!! We have generator set but the engine is very faulty and very expensive to repair besides, we can't be spending money on fuel on daily basis coupled with the fact that there are other expenses at home to run.
Last night, I was awake till 3am dot, I kept fanning myself and sweating profusely, at a point, I felt I was loosing my breath, I stood up, laid down, sat down, I did everything I could to feel OK but to no avail, my hand was aching me too.
I slept off for about 12minutes only to suddenly jerk up from bed and feel sweat running down my face and body like a cup of water was poured on me hmm.. The mattress was soaked at different sections and I couldn't lie down on it again. The one that scared me most was that I observed that fluid came up into my mouth from my stomach and I rushed to go and spill it out, dehydration too, I kept drinking water and trying to stay alive.
By exactly 3am dot, they brought the light, I wasn't feeling happy because there was no morale for excitement anymore but I finally managed to sleep off, i woke up again as they took it by past 4 again till now. I sleep by 3 or 4 almost every night and I am feeling frustrated. I felt I should share it, I am tired, God please help me, I am always scared once the night approaches on daily basis.. The Government should help the masses with light and water for healthy living.

yours is even better at least u see light at 3am everyday, in Olorunto street Aboru we haven't seen light for the past 2months on the bases that our transformer spoilt and the cable which they will use repair the transformer was said by NEPA to b stolen from them, as its stands now I wish I was in ur beautiful shoes
