BCH, Nursing, Physiology, pharmacology, Botany, Physics, Medicine and Zoology Tuesday: CBG, dentistry, physiotherapy, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Marine science, Geoscience Wednesday: Computer science, Radiography, MCB, medical lab, BCH, nursing, physiology, pharmacology. |

End strike now, presidency tells ASUU In a related development, the presidency insisted yesterday that the ASUU must, within 24 hours, call off the lingering strike it embarked on five months ago, saying the four items it listed as preconditions for ending the industrial action have all been met by the federal government. According to the senior special assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr Doyin Okupe, none of the four conditions is justifying enough for the lecturers to proceed with the strike action. Addressing a press conference yesterday, Okupe claimed to have personally seen the universities' infrastructure intervention money paid by the federal government into a special account opened by the Central Bank of Nigeria as demanded by the academic body. He said, "Given due considerations to the four items mentioned by ASUU as preconditions for their calling off the strike, we state categorically that none of them remains substantially pending or weighty enough to justify the continuation of the strike. "Therefore, there are no further legitimate reasons for the strike by university teachers to continue a day longer. We therefore call on Dr Nasir Fagge, his distinguished colleagues in the ASUU leadership as well as other patriotic members of their union to put all else aside and call off this strike in the interest of our young men and women who have been kept out of school for five months and who have no recourse to any form of compensation whatsoever. 1 Like |

Oh bio! Unilag get problem ooo. Went 2 d library to submit my library card which was stamped @ d bursary department, dey redirect me 2 make another stamp @ d faculty ( science ). having gotten there, I met a woman n she told me our faculty reg has been postponed till further notice. God is watching u pple oooo. Hmn, back 2 u pple in eco bank, having paid my school fee, u still delay my payment receipt. don't worry. I will make sure I revenge wit a surprise first class. SHALOM |
