Few yrs ago(2011 & 2012), i was just an aspirant lik u guys seekin 4 unilag admission, i wasted 2 yrs without achieving my goal (admission), just bcus i was nt acquaintd of d easiest & simplest way of becomin an akokite.However, i had always seen unilag post ume/admission as d main barrier 2 my break2ru, but in 2013, i realised this thread (nairaland) as d way 2 my success, durin our post ume prepratn, we (nairalanders) shared ideas, questions & techniques on hw 2 tackle unilag 2013 post ume, @ d end, i must confess dt about 65 to 70% of us r nw akokites (freshers). but Mr. Calculus had already shown that if z, a, b, c, and d are Real and z=(a+ib)/(c+id), then a/b=c/d
now set a=R₁, b=wL, c=R₄, d=1/wC and z=R₃*R₂/((R₄)^2 + (1/wC)²)
then all the conditions of questn 1 are satisfied.
Hence, R₁/wL=R₄*wC, so L=R₁/(R₄*w²C).
IF U DOUBT THE RESULT, SUBSTITUTE REAL NUMBERS TO VERIFY

if z is real,lets take z as 1.
then by cross multiplying::

by comparison
=>c=a and d=b.
=>c/a=d/b or a/b=c/d.
