Politics › Re: Presidency: Edwin Clark Says Tinubu Should Allow South East To Take Its Turn by Rawhumper(m): 12:58am On Aug 02, 2020
We are not here to flex muscles or argue,Ibos with if not the largest population has been marginalised for long but the yorubas have failed to see that they have also always been used and dumped by the Hausa/Fulani.

A yoruba man says he is wise, but thru history right after civil war,the Hausa/Fulani has been using them and the middlebelt to achieve their own aims.

After the overthrow of Gowon,Dimka a middlebelt struck and killed Murtala.
The Hausa/Fulani(HF) feared there may be another unrest, skillfully brought in Obasanjo as Military President but remained the main force in govt, after using him they dumped him and forced him to declare Shehu Shagari winner.

After the overthrow of Shagari by Buhari thru agreed and planned coup,it became part of them till MKO was denied Presidency after winning the 1993 election.

After the take over of rulership, they passed power from one Northern hand to another thru same method, agreed coup.

During the time of Sanni Abacha there were plans to kill Obasanjo,he was imprisoned till God intervened and put him in Aso Rock.

That was why Obasanjo fought them especially in 2nd term but those that didnt understand these HF were against Obasanjo and had him pushed out after the two terms.

Now they brought Osibanjo as VP,a puppet and rubbished him.
I believe he is only collecting his salary as VP nothing more, just sitting in his office watching television all day,his duties denied him.

Still the Yorubas will claim to be wise,i dont mean to offend anyone but am a realist so i try to paint the picture as it.

It doesnt mean the Ibos have not made mistakes too,but it is the Ibos in power that can stem the violence coming from HF.

Others have tried, its now time for the Ibos to have a taste of it and prove their worth.

Thank You

Mo3891:
*Awolowo lost or was rigged out of two elections
*Abiola won 1993 election even when Ibos voted for Northern candidate because of Ibo vice
*Olusegun Obasanjo won 1999 primaries against Alex Ekwueme, won 2003 general election against Buhari and his Ibo vice

Why are Ibos scared of contesting against Tinubu?

.

We need to come as one,we are talking about rescuing Nigeria from death! This death will affect all!

Its not about tribe, ask yourself what have we really gained since the times the yorubas and Hausas ruled?

Some of the yoruba Presidents did well, but i urge us all brothers and sisters to set aside our differences, backgrounds, religion and the name of my moniker and give the Ibos chance to rule.

I have faith if the ibos are given tje chance we can achieve relative peace and progress.

quote author=myboy2111 post=92311549]How can Tinubu be a threat to a whole Tribe? No wonder they shout his name everyday.

Since 1960, every tribe has been contesting every election without restrictions. It is an open field .

South Easterners should not be scared in contesting against the South Westerners.
True but with the help of Boomoo he may be rigged in which is the normal thing.

Thats why we Nigerians should open eyes and start now to make plans on how to displaced these useless and heartless politicians we have.

Conflicts is what they love except it is directed to their doorsteps and it takes their lives,if not it will be wasted efforts.

A time has come we either secure our deginity and that of our unborn children now or we keep dying in slavery and penury.

I say it again,if you are an armed robber or kidnapper in this forum,i beg you not to direct your anger to the poor citizens why waste the life of those who are passing thru what you going thru?
Channel it to the politicians families.....

In this way there will be relative peace and less deaths, this is a clarion call we must abide, gone are the days we play politics or sabo with our motherland, things are out of hand.

quote author=Ezeama400 post=92310872]Tinubu is not a threat to anyone...

If Awolowo who was a Christian and loved by all yorubas could not get it despite his two attempts, is it Tinubu whom some of his people are cursing on the street will actualize such dream ?

Again,It's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of niddle than for a Muslim southerner to rule this country under this structure, the same is applicable to northern christians.. They are politically disadvantaged, it's a very sad reality we must swallow.
As for Abiola's case concerning issue of religion, Nigerians were so desperate for democracy to the extent that they were ready to accept anyone as long as democracy will be praticed. Nigerians didn't care about religion unlike what is obtainable today where average Nigerian on the street is so concious of his faith due to religious crisis that has happened in the past and the present as well..
Guy i need you to really think about this, stop the hatred and bitterness.

We all have our losses in life, what makes a man is how he deal his losses.

Its time to put a change in govt, everything about next election begins from now and we should be the ones to make a change and support Confederation of the regions so we can have access to our resources and develop at our own pace.

Thank you and stay safe buddy smiley

Anyways am not here to exchange words,u know am king and a wall ready to take anything thrown at me.

But am here to talk about our country, yes rather than abuses we should focus our anger on our politicians buddy.

I feel very bad seeing the poverty rate and sufferings of the people,am more worried than anything else.
Wars here and there, people are really in penury.

Am comfortable and i thank God for that but i wont be safe if my brothers and sisters are lacking and dying.

There isnt need for us to blame one another, this what these criminals want and they laugh when we focus on ourselves.

I must say i have missed you buddy and glad to hear from you.

Lol...you right bro that's why we need to redirect that anger on our politicians.

They like it when we are on our fellow citizens throats.

No more distractions!!

Lets focus and make sure dis govt doesn't succeed next election, they like conflicts but any conflicts that will happen will be directed to them if they have tmran abroad their properties burnt and destroyed thus way they start to understand Nigerians have woken up.

I beg if you know you are an arm robber or a kidnapper here,on a serious please stop killing innocent people go for these politicians that made you what you are.

Think about it,if all the hatred and bad things are targeted against them they will readjust.

Thank you

Its time to obey the clarion call, its time we rise as one and pit our doubts bigotry, religion and ethnicity behind and rally behind the Ibos and pushing for confederation so every region can have access to its own resources and develop at its own pace.

I ask you to give this a thought and contribute and make ur own efforts to make this a reality.

I believe this bloodshed and Boko thing will be a thing of the past if an Ibo man comes to power.

Peace is the essence of life,so therefore it is imperative well meaning Nigerians work towards the actualisation this.

Thank you.

I have two male friends one from Austrilia with unmarried and old like 60years,he calls me his son while the other is a Brazilian living in Argentina wants to do papers for me to work in his company but am scared,he is not asking me for money I pay for my tickets.

But I authoritatively say it,so dear I don't mean to offend u.

Well thanks dear, its helpful to those that want to travel abroad.

I have 3sistera overseas,Germany,US and UAE precisely all married with their families and I have a sister white in-law married to my brother in England but I have not shown interest to travel overseas.

My siblings have tried to connect me to white girls,on my life I don't really show interest.

My sister presently is on my neck to link me to her white US friend, she even said if it was juju that they did to me but they wont understand.

I have met my friends that call me names and showed disdain when they saw I don't show interest to travel out, most of them call Nigeria hell fire.
It may be true, cos only Togo and Ghana I travelled to 10years ago were far more than Nigeria in terms of food, road and peaceful environment but I still love Naija.

Truly I love Naija and the girls here...

People don't know that business opportunities are in our country and u can make it.

I feel its only those that have failed in Naija try to travel abroad for greener pastures.

Anyways nice pics you got and thanks once again and happy new month.

quote author=Lifeofgabbyz post=92299714]Hello guys, my name is Gabby. I am an avid reader of Nairaland but registered newly in order to share my experience. I would like to share 10 tips with you guys which I think you will find very helpful if you decide to move to Ireland (where I am based) or to a different country abroad… please keep reading and watch the detailed video below where I explained everything.

Listed below are the 10 tips or things I think everyone should consider before they decide to move to Ireland or a different country abroad…

1. Research: the importance of proper research cannot be over emphasized and research is the first thing I chose because this is the stage where you start to think about the school (university, college or institute of technology) you would like to attend, know the course you would like to study and you also want to know if the school is credible and if it is a globally recognised school and all these information can be found on the schools website or if you think that the website is confusing put a call across to the school and get the information you need or better still google the information that you are looking for and I’m sure something will come up.

2. Budget: The amount of money you have set aside for things like tuition, accommodation, transportation and more. Budgeting is important because it allows you to stay within your estimated cost and not to go over it based on the amount of money that you have and the amount of money that you have set aside. You can easily create a budget via excel, Microsoft word or better still the note pad that is on your phone is also a good place to start.

3. Cost of living: it is important to know what the cost of living is like in the country you plan on relocating to. The price varies per counties and cities, so you want to know what it will cost you to live in that city, either school accommodation or off campus accommodation knowing the cost is important and you can also factor that into your budget.

4. Accommodation: when it comes to getting the right accommodation, sometimes you get the best and sometimes you do not. You can start searching for accommodation before going to the country you are moving to. You can google the country you are going to and try to find something that is close to school because this saves you the cost of transportation. And if you do not get an accommodation in time before you resume, you can book a hotel or an Airbnb while you are still searching for your accommodation and always check the school website properly for the section on accommodation.
