Am presently in such a situation,I met a sexy girl 2months ago in a bank.

We exchanged numbers, she would make sure to call or call me everyday and normally call me handsome.

After that two months I have not had time to meet her again, cos I am a busy guy.

She works but few days ago I noticed she seldom call or text me.
When I called her,I asked her I noticed she doesn't call often unlike before I asked her of she was missing me,she replied she doesn't know again and that she cant miss someone she has not been with.

I was hurt cos before she used to tell me she missed me and bla blah blah,so I asked her if she has a guy she said yes...but we can be friends I told her no I didn't toast her to be just a friend.

I don't know the sudden change,o know that we haven't been together after the first day.

I told her to be patient that my small contract work will end in two weeks time but after she told me about boyfriend I sent her a text I wont b able to see her when I come back cos I will be busy with my dads upcoming 90th birthday.

I forgot to say,one time on phone I told her I would like to make love to her when we meet she accepted and said ok. She didn't tell me about her guy then oo but why now?

quote author=Favour2323 post=92307338]Nairalanders, I'm about to do something my conscience doesn't agree with but it feels like the right decision to make. I have a boyfriend. We've been dating for the past 6 months. I love him. We were good friends before we started dating. I'm someone who doesn't trust easily and I like to assess a guy for a while before dating him. I assessed his intentions and I realised he didn't just want to have sex with me and leave. He loved me just as I loved him.

Three months ago I met this guy. At first I just saw him as a friend, but as I got to know him I started noticing the good qualities he possessed. He's very attractive, very intelligent and wellspoken. My conversations with him were so immersive. The little time I spent with him always left a profound impression on me. Soon I noticed I had started developing feelings for him. I was still in love with my boyfriend nevertheless.

One day the new guy asked me if I had a boyfriend. I told him I did. The next day he called me and said that he didn't want to interfere with my relationship. He said he had feelings for me and he couldn't remain friends with me when he knows I have a boyfriend. I told him that I had feelings for him as well and that we could still remain friends but he refused and suggested that we stopped talking. He hasn't called or texted me since that day.

This situation has left me in an emotional turmoil. This new guy represents everything I want in a guy and as much as I don't want to admit it, he possesses better qualities than my boyfriend. I can't imagine a life where I can't talk to him anymore. I really like him. His decision has left me in a dicey position. It's unfair to leave my boyfriend who has always been nice to me for someone else, but the new guy doesn't want to have anything to do with me again as long as I'm in a relationship.

Please I need advice. I don't want to make the wrong decision.
So sorry brother for the loss, i can give few tips that will help the soildiers.

They may or may have not done some of these tips.
I did like you to relay it to the appropriate command.

* The Nigerian Army should gain the trust of the residents in the areas of operation.

*Any form of maltreatment and extortion by the military personnel will only breed hatred and this means more danger to the troops.
When a troop is an enviroment, they should never no matter the reason extort or maltreatment the residents, these are the main soildiers but the Army has failed to know this.
THE RESIDENTS can help the army win or lose the war.

*Info should be withheld from the troops till the last minute of departure, the troops should not be briefed ahead where they are going but can be told whT their mission is.
The location should be last min,if this is strictly adhered to,it will go a long way to reduce sabotage and ambush.

*Its really dangerous to go to the front with men that dont want to go,its safer to go with a handful ready for combat with high morale than to go with multitudes who are grumbling with low morale, defeat is sure.

*Army life is not all about been serious or looking mean cos bullet will still enter body and the soildier will die.

A psycologist should be given to every unit in the command(a woman should be included).

* The bad eggs amongst the soildiers should be interogated and get to know what transpired, diplomacy and psychology are important tools the military should apply when neccessary.

*The army should bring out money to pay residents who will be giving them info on the movements of boko haram.

*Lastly the soildiers ahouldnt be together within a very short distance btw them when under attack,i have seen real clips our troops were almost touching eachothers shoulder while returning fire, there should be distance cos this will limit causalties. As grenade or RPG is fired on them.

You may know these and others i didnt mention, but i doubt the Army really applies this.

Stay Strong.

batstan:
Best approach!
The officers are compromising and sabotaging the entire operation for their selfish gain.

Defence should carry out a massive redeployment of officers within the region ASAP.

Just buried a brother in arms,
Morale is low but,
Victory is sure.

Bad eggs are being discovered frequently,
The end is near!

We should keep peace,as war doesnt really pay.

Before we take up arms, remember it does not take us anywhere and the hardship our people will face.

Our helpless ladies will be violated, tortured and raped while our children will be oppressed. Is this what we really want?

If am to lead or command, any soldier or civilian found raping a lady will be shot instantly.

By the time i do to 20 - 30 soildiers, others will learn there lessons.
As long as am alive,i wont condone rape.

You can toast, seduce and entice a lady if she agrees,u can be doing it with her behind a car i wont give a damn. But use force will attract a death penalty.

On other hand,if a lady accuses a guy of rape,if its found false,d lady will be shot too to serve as a warning to those that will take advantage of it to punish innocent guys.

This way the society and army will have sanity.

All in all,if we want this violence to stop,we should support the Ibos in next election and advocate for confederation of the regions.

Once an ibo man in power,Boko haram will die on its own,as for fulani herdsmen they will already be in their father and motherland by then

If my opinion is sought i will say Chris Anyanwu is a strong woman who has tried to an extent and i could remember how she dug it out with okoroawusa.

Emeka Ihedioha is also a strong who demonstrated his prowess within few months in office as Gov of Imo State.

He paid the workers upto date and was on Okoroawusa neck, investigating his corruption and money looting till he was removed by court of Law.

At least these two left legacies not just in management but ability to fight for a good cause that is been resolute, these are the kind of leaders we need.

As i am talking to you,d dont know me personally but am been real cos it is time we really sit up and make up our minds to set things right,i know it wont be easy but it can be achieved if we start from today.

Thanks to everyone who has criticized and aired their doubts,i believe we can start by pushing confederation in the upcoming conference.

Thats why i said a man hunt should be made all over the eastern region.

There are non politicians that can be urged to become President.

To be honest,i find all our politicians useless but few i can mention are Sen. Chris Anyamwu, Hon.Emeka Ihedioha, Ezekwesiri, even Okonjo Iwuala but we need someone strong, resolute and diplomatic.

Over the decades i have hid in my shell shunning politics but i have seen the rate of decay in the country has reached beyound the sky so i think the time to do something has come before we all perish in our own motherland.

I propose in the next election majority of those in Senate should not be re-elected those old politicians should be scrapped in all the 36States and be replaced with fresh and younger blood.

It is time we put our love for money aside and shun corruption so that we can get credible leader. All the money and goodies as bribes we got so far who has it helped?

Thank you.

Yes i concur with you,he is a great man and i think if given more and wilder power he will really deal with boko haram.

I dont really think Peter Obi and Okoroawusa are suitable candidates for the Presidency,a better strong Ibo man should be hunted now.

We dont need these same old politicians to lead us.

Am here canvassing support for the Southern cause against next election.

I believe with time, it wil go a very long way,its just to clear the doubts other tribes have against the Ibos.

Thank you.

Politics › Re: The Moment Gowon Received The News Of The Coup That Overthrew Him In OAU by Rawhumper(m): 9:28am On Jul 31, 2020
Thanks bro but am not shying away from anything.

I understand your point but This was the mistake Ojukwu by declaring seccession,as the senior to Gowon he would have fought as one nigeria but his tactic led the world to abandon him and his cause.

There is a time to use diplomacy and a time for the rod,but the last should be after lenghty exhausive diplomacy.

I dont also clamour for violence,we have to look brother before we leap.

We should remember the SUFFERING THE WOMEN and CHILDREN will PASS THRU as well as the HUMILIATION,TORTURE and RAPE OUR WOMEN will pass thru during conflicts.

This is why am using to strategy to let other tribes join in our cause and push for confederation not total independence.
We still need other regions,no man can be an island on his own, remember it was this kind of mistakes that led to the downfall of Biafra war.

All we want is a harmonious society where equality will be the order of the day,it may be a uphill task but can be achieved when we work together.

Thank you.

quote author=Yujin post=92287226]
Do not waste your time on these people who quote you. Nothing you say to the credit of Igbos will make sense to them. Leave them to their beliefs and opinions.
Finally, think Biafra because that's where your survival lies. Shying away from to that name simply because people like those who qouted you earlier are unconformable with it makes you vulnerable to their antics.
Politics › Re: The Moment Gowon Received The News Of The Coup That Overthrew Him In OAU by Rawhumper(m): 12:59am On Jul 31, 2020
Am not talking about superiority when i say if ibo die others will be in mess.

Its our population, these extremists fear the ibos cos the ibos have the manpower to counter them,am been pratical not sentimental.

Yes bro our leaders made mistakes, and i accept their mistakes.
I dont defend them cos i cant cover bad when there is one but you have to know we all make mistakes.

There is no need to hate the ibos cos ibos are not the real enemy.

Imagine a nigeria without the Ibos, who do you think can stand the hausa/fulanis? Lets be realistic.

I wholeheartedly accept the Niger Deltans as our brothers and sisters, afterall we have ancentral roots in some of their States.

So my brother,if not anything for my words which am appealing to everyone to ignore any comment that will bring disunity amongst the west and South.

Every tribe has Saboteurs,so i trust in future if the right ibo man comes up we support him and see the outcome.

Will you take my hand as we walk on this thorny path to redemption?

quote author=OmoEpe post=92286256]

As appealing as you sound you need to first perish the thought of igbo superiority to other tribes

All tribes are equal

The false assumption made you lose the civil war so badly, you instead of partnering with SS you went there to dominate them hence they denied you access to the sea which was essential in winning the war.

You can't come to me as a superior without basis and except cooperation from me

The pride of the igbo without any factual reason has been and it's still and will remain it's albatross except you change this shallow way of reasoning

In every where you find yourself while other strangers dwell in peace with their host only igbos keep having problems with the hosts. You know why? You guys are like empty barrels that makes most noise all sound no tangibility
Politics › Re: The Moment Gowon Received The News Of The Coup That Overthrew Him In OAU by Rawhumper(m): 12:48am On Jul 31, 2020
You guys said it we have been marginalised, but still we thrive and survive.

I still put it to you, maybe when that day comes you remember what i said.

Cant you see how both the yorubas, ibos and middlebelt were used and dumped?

If it comess to science and technology i can bet you the yorubas dont see the ibos back.

It was a yoruba officer was incharge of production of home made military wares but nothing was going but when Buratai brought in an ibo Officer there was advancement.

You can google it,you see it.
When Gen Ihejirika became Chief Boko boys laid low till the Northern elements forced Jonathan to remove him.
Okonjo Iwuala under Obasanjo did wonders in economic sector.

During the biafran war,the ibos with limited resources produved weapons and bpmbs like ogbunigwe, rpg but the nigerian govt was buying their weapons, couldnt produce one pistol with all the resources at their disposal

These just few cos my aim is not to say who the strongest is but to redeem our land slavery and also call for confederation of the regions.

Thank you for your constructive criticisms and arguements,i learnt something from you.
Please think about my clarion call.

b]
OmoEpe:
My point of disagreement with you is what has just being repeated on what basis is the exertion that igbos are father figure to southern Nigeria, it was this fallacy of overestimation of self that made them lose the civil war so badly

Get this once and for all you ain't better than any tribe in the South so you cant be a father figure

1) in terms of education you are far behind the West
2) In terms of physical and infrastructural development you are the least behind both SW and AS
3)GDP you are the least
4) IGR you are the poorest zone in the whole federation
6) Natural resources you are the least, even your soil is the least fertile

What is the father figure then? Because you do buying and selling in which your market is made up of other regions? In fact that makes you the most dependent and vulnerable tribe
So rather than claim fatherhood my brother please accept sonship of the South with grace because that's all what the indices points to
