Don't mind all these ignorant people. My brother pays 1,000 dollars a month for rent monthly in yankee, that's 1.4 million a month, for a room in a flat o! My 2 bedroom apartment yearly rent is 1 million in ikotun, lagos (newly renovated)...that's less than what My brother pays for rent in a year. My sister that's in UK always send a her children's phone to naija for me to repair it when it spoils, because it is far cheaper in naija...I can go on and on. Yes, they earn good money there, but you will spend majority of it on surviving. Don't even go to car repairs and maintenance cost over there.

The $1k you mentioned, are you aware it's like spending a thousand naira here. What can you afford with your country 5 and 10 naira bill? It literally useless.
