How can a man be so wicked?I personally know someone,a friend actually that ran a 3 months course for over 9 months.After spending so much time and resources ,collection of result was another problem. My friend resorted to writing series of petitions to Dss before he was able to get his result.I m surprised that the school still exist.I think bringing his case to nairaland is a step in the right direction.More needs to be done to warn others about this man and his activities. |

decatalyst:Due to their love for garlic which is an important item in their cuisines. The Indian Head shake first originated when India was under The Indian Monarchy. When replying to the Rulers of India (both British and Indian) the people were reluctant to say no due to the often violent responses of their country’s leaders so they would tend to sway and shake their head back and forth to let them decide for themselves what they wanted it to mean.The head shake was born. Now while this information may not have come from a scientifically dependable source it is a very probable origin for the head shake. |
tosyne2much:And why must it always involve a married woman...Voodoo is real.Forget penus captivus or whatever it is called. |

Baltazarcus:Verse 6 of the quoted above appears to use two metaphors to speak of death. The first is of a silver chord and a golden bowl most likely the bowl was used as an oil light, suspended by a chord. Dying is compared to the breaking of this chord and the crashing of the bowl down to the ground, whereupon it shatters and its light is extinguished. Second, death is compared to a pitcher used to draw water at a well. Death is like the breaking of this pitcher and the pulley which was used to let it down. No more water can be drawn; death has conquered. "It is interesting that both of these images, the symbols of water and light, are used elsewhere in the scriptures as metaphors for life. The consequence of this termination of life is the decaying process by which the dust returns to the earth. The spirit, in a reversal of Genesis 2, "returns unto God who gave it." This is what death is all about: the shattering of all man's hope, and the cessation of everything that he was and stood for." |
ihimiray:Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 New International Version (NIV) Remember him—before the silver cord is severed, 6 and the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, and the wheel broken at the well, and the dust returns to the ground it came from, 7 and the spirit returns to God who gave it. |
Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 New International Version (NIV)
Remember him—before the silver cord is severed,
6
and the golden bowl is broken;
before the pitcher is shattered at the spring,
and the wheel broken at the well,
and the dust returns to the ground it came from,
7
and the spirit returns to God who gave it. |
Babies are born into this world with an umbilical cord connecting them to the life-giving source of the mother which is disconnected after birth. People die and enter the spirit world with an "umbilical-like cord" connecting their spirit body to the life-giving source of the physical body which is disconnected after death. Many near-death and out-of-body experiencers have described seeing this "umbilical-like cord" connecting their spirit body to their physical body. Many religious traditions describe this spirit-body connecting cord which is commonly known as the "silver cord." Just as the baby's umbilical cord must be severed for the baby to experience life, the silver cord must be severed for the spirit body to experience spiritual life. It is believed that the near-death experience does not involve the silver cord becoming severed; otherwise, the near-death experience would then become irreversible bodily death. |

The soul was still attached to the body via the silver cord...The is similar to a foetus umbilical cord. But in invisible form.The connection severs gradually as decomposition progresses. Lazarus was only dead for 3 days so the connection of the silver cord to the body was still intact. Jesus Christ literally commanded the soul back into his body. |
