Brooding is a very easy project to be down wen normal procedure is be taken place,we started d brooding LST 4 weeks with 2500 chick ad 15mortality so for.......God in control.....just wanna share d medications ad vaccinations given to dem ad duration of tym...........
1)izovac ib H120 vaccine(given to dem on their 1st day of arrival)ad glucose should b miss with vitamin in their drinking trough......day 1
2)vitamin&conflox20%bh(antibiotics)&nystatin(for protection against bacteria infection)for three days b4 d second vaccination.........day2 to 4
3)first gamboro vaccine shld b given(against gamboro disease mix with milk)day4
4)vitamin ad antibiotics shld b given.......b4 d next vaccination day5 to9
5)first lasoto vaccine shld b given(against Newcastle disease also mix with milk)day9
6)vitamins &tylo doc extra(it helps in protecting the respiratory system from any infection dat can cause damages to its system)day9 to 15
7)injecting dem with bio mareks-Hvt(against marek disease)bt nt really necessary day16
vitamin shld b given day16 to22
9)second gamboro shld b given day22
10)second lasota shld b given day 27........
11)prococ wdp against bacteria disease mix with vitamin for three days if all did are as follows dey will b reduction in mortality in brooding..........NOTE:injection shld b 0.2ml per bird, we also ave life ad dead vaccine..... be careful wen using life vaccine it MST bt be exposed to d air. .....may GOD bless ow hustle...........ADD MORE IF U AVE MORE EXPERIENCE ABT DIS PLS WE ALL LEARNING EVERYDAY...........

op dont give up. I know how it feels because i have been there. I wish i could be of assistance. I am into grasscutter farming not poultry. I have experienced loss in this farming venture so i understand what u r goin through. Learn from your mistakes, do more research and training. Administer tetracycline and ampiclox to them in large doses(mix in their drinker)... Also apply palm oil on the areas where the pox is affecting your birds

I have reared turkey before commercially and it is better to raise #broiler turkey# ( I mean foreign turkey).

You take care of them like broilers chicken and they have good feed to meat conversion efficiency.

Many people see turkey as *article of ostentation * ( things you buy to show off) .

A matured turkey sales for N15, 000 and above depending on location and bargaining power.
