There's no precedence that suggest Atiku would have won. Atiku’s performance in 2019 was because of Obi, his running mate. You do understand Obi contested with LP without structure, right?

Buhari lost his presidential bid 3 times before he finally won in 2015, the foundation of your assumptions does not make room for proper judgement.
There is no history that suggests Atiku wouldn't have won.
